CoolioD1
NGNG: Haneke wins Screenplay That really doesn't count as a NGNG. I've seen plenty people predict it.

acsc1312
Why are they starting the ceremony at 8:30 if they know it's gonna be a long one? Start it at 8 at least to save us some time!

riczhang
Why are they starting the ceremony at 8:30 if they know it's gonna be a long one? Start it at 8 at least to save us some time! Because they do it in LA, and they broadcast it live to the entire nation. It's only 5:30 pm in LA and if they do it any earlier it'll cut into potential ratings on the west coast. riczhang
At least that's the official reason.
Michael Gary Scott
I wish i lived on the westcoast for that reason
riczhang
I just had a strange thought. Imagine if actress ended in a tie.... that'd be epic. And, on another random note, the fact that PWC's probably finished counting ballots by now is driving me insane.... 2 people already know all the winners... riczhang
True... At this point, I'm fine with any of them winning except for Wallis. That'd be like suicide time. I'd prefer them to win in this order though: Riva, Watts, Lawrence, Chastain.
