iEye
De rien. Maybe one day, you can help me with French.
Gideon
De rien. Maybe one day, you can help me with French. Bien sûr! This one: Brave is a synonym for "courageous" in US and here. But here, "brave" is, sometimes, also used in a mocking way for "simple minded" lol So the movie is titled "Rebelle" (rebellious).
iEye
I actually knew that, I was in Montreal a few weeks ago and saw the ads for it.
Gideon
And to add more: "Rebelle" here is a good marketing choice because "Belle" is the french name of Beauty in B&tB. Perfect unconscious name-correlation for audiences.
DAR
Dear god, I would love it if Pixar never put another sequel on their slate again. In theory it would be nice, but there's the matter of the Disney stockholders.
kayumanggi
The Claf is gonna voice next Pixar movie and play Finnick in CF and MJ. So I`m totally gonna have his posters on the bedroom wall. lol

Gideon
Sharktale was the 1st 4000 theatre animated movie, right? What a "shock" lol Who remembers that movie now?

AniNate
Am I the only one who thinks How to Train Your Dragon is a mediocre film? Extremely cookie cutter, typical Dreamworks groanfest. The score also never impressed me, not sure why crazy fans basically forced the Academy to nominate it. It's fine if you don't like the film, but the score? Yeah, you're nuts. Sims
It's fine if you don't like the film, but the score? Yeah, you're nuts. The score is fine but it's hardly award-worthy. I couldn't remember one note of it 10 minutes after leaving the movie.
AniNate
The score is fine but it's hardly award-worthy. I couldn't remember one note of it 10 minutes after leaving the movie. It was one of the few I could remember. Certainly left more of an impression than The Social Network's.
Mojoguy
The score is fine but it's hardly award-worthy. I couldn't remember one note of it 10 minutes after leaving the movie. The ONLY reason why HTTYD didn't win Best Animated Film Oscar that year was because it was going up against Toy Story 3. NOTHING was going to stop TS3 from winning. Safari
Sharktale was the 1st 4000 theatre animated movie, right? What a "shock" lol Who remembers that movie now? I think Shrek 2 was the first. As for Shark Tale, I wonder how that would've done if it was released in the last few years and not during the whole computer animated movie boom in 2004. whoot
In theory it would be nice, but there's the matter of the Disney stockholders. Well I'm a Disney stockholder (though not a big enough one to make a difference, obviously). I'd love it if Pixar killed the Cars franchise now. As is, I'm bracing for Cars 3. Need to keep Cars Land viable I suppose. *sigh*
whoot
HTTYD had the best score in years. In one year, IMO. Up's score was phenomenal.
