whoot
I'm in the Acceptance phase now. F&ck them all, I'm excited for this and will love it. If I can like movies that people bash like A Bee Movie and Cars, I will like this no problem. Points for passion and originality. The artists put their all into this during a transition stage at the studio. It's better reward this than merchandise grabs.

John Marston
Cars 3 might happen since Lasseter is in love with the Cars world, the Cars merchandise sells like crazy and Cars Land looks to be popular.
tommycruise
It would be really dissapointing to see this get mixed reviews. I was actually excited for this and wanted to see another Pixar movie in theaters(the only one I've seen is Up). Really hope the reviews turn around.... I don't think that's the acceptance phase
Ball Lightning
One thing I think that is a problem is that it is a very female orientated film. The basis is a very strong look at the relationship between the mother and daughter. Considering that most reviewers are male, I can see that being a reason for the not so good reviews. No offense but your review sounds like 7.5/10 tops and yet you gave 9/10. Pixar bias shows. I understand, I do have Pixar bias. I also rate most things highly.. I just enjoy most movies! This one was more then enjoyment though, I did have tears during the movie as it has a fantastic heart. Theres just a few niggling issues with story which are hardly relevant. I also took in the fact that I couldn't connect as well as a girl would to the story.

AniNate
F@CK THE ACCEPTANCE PHASE Let's be honest, none of us will truly be able to enter acceptance until we've actually seen the movie.
Cochofles
I am shocked. Even the good reviews have mostly a 'meh' attitude toward the film.
Mojoguy
Cars III will DEFINATELY be made. Disney owns PIXAR now and they want it done eventually for the money.

JackO
What are they not liking about it though? That the movie changes to a completely different one halfway through and visuals are not up to Pixars usual standards.
AniNate
What are they not liking about it though? It's complicated. Seems to be a combination of story, pacing, and character development. At least Merida the character is getting universal praise. Edited June 16, 2012 by tribefan695
