Mojoguy
Cars 2 was a disappointment. That might hurt this movie if the reviews aren't amazing. PIXAR needs this movie to be awesome or they become yet another animation studio.
lab276
So, two films in two years rewrites 15 years of being... awesome?
BK007
One film is random, two films in a row could signal a trend. Hope they smash this one out of the park because I can't have 3 years without a Pixar fix.
lab276
3 years?
BK007
2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013 since Monsters 2 comes out in June 2013. Or maybe my math sucks.
lab276
So, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Except we get 2 Pixar films in 2013, one of which is original.

BK007
No, I have hope for Monsters Inc. 2 and I know there are two movies being released. From June 2010 to 2011 is one year, from June 2011 to 2012 is another, and from June 2012 to June 2013 is another, that's three years. lab276
Why not just make it easy and say January to January constitues a year? It's what I do.
AniNate
It would be almost three exact years since Toy Story 3's release. They were all released in June so it's not that hard to calculate.
Letsuseournoggin
You guys are confusing the crap out of me... this is easier: Summer of 2012: Brave Summer of 2013: Monsters University Holiday Season of 2013: Untitled Pixar Dinosaur film 2014: a Pixar project that is going to explore the human mind directed by Up’s Pete Docter. AniNate
BK's just saying that he doesn't want to go from Toy Story 3 to Monsters U without a good Pixar film.
Elessar
So, two films in two years rewrites 15 years of being... awesome? The saying goes, you are only as good as your last movie. As for being awesome, i beg to differ. I find them overrated, they make okay movies, nothing more, nothing less. But hey, that's just me, continue worshiping the ground Pixar walks on... Heretic
Can't wait. And I doubt Cars 2 will even effect this movie, unless, for some reason it gets bad reviews. People already knew Cars was among the weakest of Pixar's, so a mediocre sequel was to be expected. Their original films have never faltered, and I doubt Brave will either. People can't seriously be swayed by ONE bad movie.

People can't seriously be swayed by ONE bad movie. It happened to Disney when Pocahontas came out, and ever since that film, no Disney film broke 200M until Tangled. But I think people realized that the previous Disney films at the time were basically rehashes of The Little Mermaid. They can't say the same about Pixar, who don't repeat themselves, so Cars 2 probably won't affect Brave. If it does, I'll be surprised.
