Comic Con panel didn't reveal any casting or new information other than a confirmation that Stannis is dead and the cut-away was just a cinematic tool rather than something supposed to be ambiguous.

Or just bad directing. When this show kills someone they kill them. They don't cut away.

So Emmy nominations in two days. Dinklage, Headey and Rigg seem like good bets again. That's probably it for acting right?

Dink's obviously getting a nomination but I'm curious as to what his submission will be- he didn't really have a standout episode like last year, and that might hurt his chance at a win. Kit Harrington might have an outside shot for Hardhome.

Can Lena win this year? I felt that while Cersei had a great arc this season, it was evenly spread out over a number of episodes, instead of being concentrated in one particular ep. Blackwater is still her best single episode performance, and that didn't get a nom for her.

she can maybe win with the finale. depends who her competition is though. there's some tough ones in that category this year.

I think Lena's locked for a nom, but as to winning...should be a tough category this year, even after cutting out the obligatory Maggie Smith nom.

I do notice that people aren't bitching about Kit being horrible anymore. He's given more to do and he shows what he can do.

Could Headey win? Smith wasn't nominated, her atonement is already an iconic moment of the show and it has all that stuff (nudity, general misery) that voters seem to love. Plus the tapes of the other three actors might help her out, although Clarke will go with 'The Dance of Dragons' that Cersei wasn't in.

 

The body double could really hold her back though.

Plus the tapes of the other three actors might help her out, although Clarke will go with 'The Dance of Dragons' that Cersei wasn't in.

 

She doesn't have the strongest competition. I'd say Hendricks is the favorite due to Mad Men final sweep chance.
