Good season.  Good ending.  It could have been better but I'm satisfied with what I got.

I had a strong feeling King Bran was how the show was gonna end forever just because it was the most trollish ending possible, and they delivered. BURN IT ALL DOWN, D&D!

 

Oh well, it's over. It was a fun ride overall, despite the writing problems of this season. Props to the cast and the tech crew for selling the material more than it deserved.

They would have been better off GRRMing us after season 7 than airing this faceplant of a season.     

 

At least there’s now a fun reading of the season where Bran’s ineffectiveness instead is brutal, cynical brilliance.
