I'll be at a wedding so ill have to wait until Monday night to watch it. I've been avoiding my cousin for a week now because he keeps trying to spoil episode 9 for me... And it's his sisters wedding. My plan is to get wasted to I don't remember anything he says. Wish me luck.

I can't even fucking imagine what that would have been like if I hadn't read the books.

Absolutely painful. Everything was going too well, so I knew something was going to happen. But wow, that was just devastating.

They actually upped the pain in the show because in the book Robb's (not-pregnant) wife is in Riverrun, not getting gutted in front of him.

Silly Robb, thinking it was a good idea to bring the woman you insulted Argus Filch over to his castle.

I loled at the part where the Blackfish said he was going to go find a tree. Saved by a urinary tract movement, which makes sense he gets out since he wasn't even at the wedding in the book. Would have liked to see him fight off a few attackers though.

I didn't read the books, so I didn't even realize that she wasn't pregnant in the books. I did accidentally read a spoiler about Ned getting beheaded, so I was atleast prepared for that possibility (though I didn't know if they would go through with it). This just came out of nowhere. Just a gut wrenching experience.

Even when everything was going well, so I knew something was going to happen, I never expected that.

The character Robb marries in the books is substantially different from Talisa in the show as well as the plot through the books so far, but based on how Talisa was handled it does give info about the relevance of Robb's book wife in the future (probably not much).
