Impact
Wasn't he going to retire after Ponyo? I'm not buying it yet. And after Spirited Away.
Spidey Freak
And after Spirited Away. Yeah, Miyazaki has had as many "last" films as Cher's "farewell tours".

cookie
I meant to say that Disney wouldn't submit it for a nomination this year, but now that it's coming to NA theaters (albeit in a limited release) this year I'm sure they will. PatrickvD
Depending on how many nominations we will have, this is how I see it playing out this year: The Wind Rises (winner) Frozen Despicable Me 2 Monsters University The Croods
Impact
Well next year looks empty-so maybe Dragon 2 can win.
PatrickvD
Well next year looks empty-so maybe Dragon 2 can win. Next year looks to be Dragon vs Big Hero 6. Empty indeed....
Spidey Freak
Dragon, BH6, Laika's The Boxtrolls and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Next year's competition looks far stronger than this year, which is basically Frozen vs. TWR.
Kvikk Lunsj
Dragon, BH6, Laika's The Boxtrolls and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Next year's competition looks far stronger than this year, which is basically Frozen vs. TWR. Some of those movies will disappoint.
Jack Nevada
Some of those movies will disappoint. Peabody and Sherman has a better chance at winning a Pulitzer prize than an Oscar.
Ladybug
Peabody and Sherman has a better chance at winning a Pulitzer prize than an Oscar. I say Peabody has a good Oscar chance (at this point, since my opinion might change once the trailer's released). Word has it that it's got a very poignant first act, and I've heard nothing but good from early screenings. CaptainJackSparrow
That is great to hear, I have been very excited for Mr Peabody and Sherman.
CloneWars
I will say The Wind Rises will win this year, simply because this is sort of weak year.
forg
I think we still should not count out Monsters University but The WInd Rises is also my frontrunner unless Frozen surprises bigtime in reviews and perhaps box office
ban1o
So best animated feature is basically Frozen vs The wind rises

Empire
I really enjoyed MU. However, Frozen looks great(I hope it is), so I want it to do big money and win best animated feature. Well, only if it actually is great.
forg
I really want Disney to win this time for their own movie so I hope all goes well for Frozen
