Ezen Baklattan
I'm not going to tell you my top 25 this year. You're going to have to figure it out on your own! Here's how it will work: I will give five numbers from 6 to 25, representing the set of films to be guessed. There will be various clues of the given set (i.e. 4 members are represented in this set, the highest ranked film in this set was made by Riczhang, etc.) I will not reveal my top 5 until 6-25 are perfectly guessed. Ezen Baklattan
Before I give the clues for my top 25-6, I'd like to share with you some honorable mentions. LucIId - It's much like the enjoyable first film, but it does too much to amp up the bizareness factor of the film, which doesn't really work in this case, unfortunately. Among The Hidden - I remember this dark yet interesting book from childhood, and Andrew Niccol did a great job of adapting it, unlike that book movie he just released in real life... The Scottsboro Boys - This is an example of a director trying something different and having it work. Seth MacFarlane does a strong job of adapting this racial tension musical to the big screen. The Blue Belt - It's like The Golden Bird, but minus David Tennant. Call Of Duty: Eye of the Storm - The action's the best of the trilogy, but its story is also the weakest. It's still a good time at the movies, however. -------------------------------------------------------- Clue Set #1: The numbers in this list are 25, 21, 19, 15, 9 1. #19 is a documentary, every other film is a comedy, even if its genre doesn't say so. 2. Two of these are bizarre comedies partially classified as "Romance" under genre 3. Three of these films were not written by Blankments. 4. Four of these films came out in November 5. #9 and #15 are rated R.

Ezen Baklattan
While you guys still try to piece the list together, I should probably add that the person who contributes the most correct answers will recieve an award of some sorts... Also, have a new set of clues on top of your old set: ----------------- The numbers are: 8, 10, 17, 22, and 24 1. One of these films was shown at the CAYOM Film Festival 2. The lowest ranked film is rated G. 3. There is another documentary in this set, beyond #19 4. Riczhang gushed over recent real life films made by the directors of #8 and #10. 5. #10 and #22 have the same number of words in the title. riczhang
#8 is Le Plaisir Faux I think... I gushed about Haneke. Edit: NVM, White Cargo isn't rated G. Edited May 5, 2013 by riczhang
riczhang
I'm fairly sure #8 and #10 are Le Plaisir, Faux and Heavy Rain. I looked through the list and the only three films that were directed by people I recently gushed over were these two and Tom Sawyer. I remember you saying that you reviewed Sawyer but weren't very hot on it so I doubt it would've made either #8 or #10. So with Hooper out that leaves only Haneke (Amour, Cache, and every other film he's done), and Alfredson (TTSS ) I think #8 is Le Plaisir, and #10 is Heavy Rain, because I think that #22 is White Cargo. EDIT: And #24 is My Little Pony. Which leaves #17 the one that was shown at CAYOM. I'm thinking Blank or Curious Incident. Two of these films are animated, which are next to each other in this set. 2. All five of these films came out in the summer. 3. Two of these films were shown at the CAYOM Film Festival 4. One of these films stars an avenger. 5. The lowest film here film features Marge Gunderson. Edited May 5, 2013 by Spaghetti
Ezen Baklattan
And this is my last set of clues. I will not proceed with the top 5 until you get all of the films ranked 6 through 25! The final numbers are 6, 12, 14, 18, and 20. 1. The bottom two are adaptions of TV shows 2. #6 has received many raves and even a few pans. 3. Much like in the first set, Blankments wrote two of these films. 4. For clues #1 and #3, the more expensive film ranks higher than the other.
