baumer
Pretty surprised 42 went up. I figured with it being Jackie Robinson day, Monday's numbers would be inflated a bit. But it still had a good bump.
wileECoyote
I think some people were looking to do something to feel better after Monday. 42 definitely fits the bill. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. Edited April 17, 2013 by WileECoyote
baumer
Yes, perhaps. Hard to tell. It's still a great sign that 42 went up.

ChD
I don't get the big deal about 42 increasing. Moneyball increased 25% on it's first Tuesday. This did somewhere around 20%... No surprise at all that it increased.
BenedictL11
Since it was Jackie Robinson Day on Monday, it was expected that there was going to be a subdue increase. It's not that bad.

The Futurist
It's funny how no one really cares about the numbers lol. We are all waiting for summer to start. Oblivion will be the teaser. And then, with Iron Man 3, fun is really gonna begin. BO has really been boring in 2013 so far, no big surprises, a lot of flops, lots of disapointments, no THG. Only the Oscar films BO was interesting. Edited April 17, 2013 by The Futurist
