Someone needs to do a high concept fantasy drama directed by Spike Jonze. Make it a trilogy! :P

Spike Jonze could do The Giver series. There's the Giver, Gathering Blue, The Messenger, and Son. Though they aren't really fantasy.

I was referring to, much like ric's Coen trilogy, there's been two consecutive years of critically acclaimed Spike Jonze fantasy dramas. Creator did High Life and I did A Woman in the Crowd. Someone should do one next year to make it an informal trilogy. :P

The back end of November looks like a bloodbath.

A good deal of these little sci-fi movies in and around late July/early August are inappropriately timed, given the nature of the behemoth they're up against. We have like 5 sci-fis (granted 2 are animated, and one's a comedy) back-to-back-to-back in that period. Obliteration is an established huge franchise, so I'm not worried.
