I got through about half an hour of that film before switching off - it was a TV movie. Portman's 'good girl' persona could subvert this role well though.

Doubt it can be better than the Polanski version but I'm intrigued. Snowtown is apparently great, and Fassbender should do Macbeth justice. I'm less sure about Cotillard - much as I love her, I don't know if she can play truly evil - but if she pulls it off, then awesome.
