BVS is going to be huge. It's a little less than a year away and highly anticipated already. It's not even close to what the marketing can do.

As much of a BvS fan as I am and it is my #1 most anticipated movie, no way it gets close to TA's number. Best case scenario is a TDKR OW number.

 

With 3-D and OS growth, I can see it making it past TDKR.

Out of all the upcoming movies, I can see Batman V Superman getting pretty close. If WB has another marketing campaign as good as the Dark Knight, it could very well top it. It's Batman and Superman in the same movie and from all the positive reactions, people have been waiting for and are ready for another Batman.

Great news. Flash can earn some decent numbers at the box office.

I think WB is in good hands. The new CEO is actually doing something with their DC properties and that's a GOOD thing. They're TV slate of super heroes and vertigo projects is also nice. So far, the announcement of David Ayer (a pretty talented director in his own right) being attached to Suicide Squad is a step in the right direction.

I can't even imagine a world in which Bale would team up for World's Finest (probably because he won't) ... but oh lord the box office potential.

 

Even if WB didn't get Bale, the potential for a JL movie, with 2 of the most popular super heroes in the world is HUGE BO potential.

Nothing tops TDK for me. X-Men First Class is the closest, followed by TDKR/BB. I hope Marvel does an Iron Fist movie, directed by Quentin.

I agree. 77M? Still a good number, but not quite the number it could have done, if this incident didn't occur. From all the tweets and people who I know, most didn't want to go on OD.

Well, leave it to the Nolan batfan obsession for this sort of thing to happen and really, it makes the fans look both stupid and bad for blowing this movie out of proportions.. Let me guess: This guy went on a shooting rampage cause the movie either sucked or a critic gave it a bad review, right???

It may or may not flop, but I for one am looking forward to this. I mean more than 50% of Marvel films are forgettable or flop, so WB has to start somewhere. Flash isn't that hard to sell, either.I love the Flash, especially Waid's and Geoff John's run. Guggenheim's small run was good, too.
