France total admissions in 3 weeks : 2,744000

What is the average ticket price in France?
This i a complicated question. Because nobody is paying the same. I guess around 10 euros, if i have to pick an average price.
But under 14 years old, it's 4 euros this year for example.
You also have unlimited pass, you pay around 22 euros per month, you can go at the theater to see a movie whenever you want , how many times you want . Totally unlimited
some theater make you pay the 3D 3 euros + the price ticket. The imax is 5 euros + the price ticket, 4DBOX 6 euros + price tickets.
Other will ask you, only 1 euro more for a 3D movie.
Some will do lesser price if you go in the morning, higher price if you go the evening... It's the jungle

and the animation movie stayed really long in general in theater in France, i think rio 2 was released in April and for example it's still playing at my big mulltiplex... I pretty sure dragons 2 will still be in theater in france during september as well.

Admission number looks healthy but Dragon 1 did $22.6M in France and Dragon 2 so far did about $15M. Possibly because Dragon 1 had a much more 3D-centric run thus had inflated ticket price. Still think it's possible that the sequel surpasses its predecesor's total gross in dollars, too.
dragons 1 did 22.6 in France in 10 weeks.... Dragons 2 did 15M in 3 weeks .... Where is the problems 7 weeks are missing for the final numbers of France.

i pretty happy with france number as well, transformers 4 opened this week and the movie already did huge number and it's probably now over the first movie in 3 weeks! we are in France, you can't expect one movie to do 725 000 admissisons each week! the hold is good after three weeks.
I don't know what people are exepecting but france hold is good for dragons 2. When a movie does more than 2 millions in two weeks , it's already a big success and now it's probably over what the first made in 10 weeks. Dragons 2 could end up around 3m 3.5 m admissions in France, it's really good. I have no doubt the movie will be on theater until the end of the summer.

the sequel will probably beat what the first did in OS total, next week ^^ . If i remember the first one , did 244 OS, it will be beaten easily.

how many countries left to open. I am not sure about 400m OS anymore.

at Paris 14h, for the opening day, transformers did 2819 admissions. It's not really good if you compare with TF3 which did 5139 admissions... aactually tf4 is the worst start of the franchise at paris at 14pm.
It's just paris at 14pm. No doubt he will be the first of the week but for now it's a low start for TF4 in the french capital.

dragons 2 725 000 admissins , cume 2.075000 admissions ( over 2 millions in two weeks , such a good news, the petit nicolas didn't hurt it badly.)
let's see how transformers will do, hope it won't hurt dragons 2 too much. httyd 2 will beat easy the first movie who made 2.3M in 10 weeks.
I wonder how far Dragons 2 can go.

in two weeks , dragons 2 made 2075000 admissions. I think 3 millions will be easy to reach for the movie with luck 4M, le petit nicolas didn't impact it too much, now it will depend if transformers will impact it badly or not.
so far word of mouth is excellent in France, viewers rating is 4.5 stars /5 in the allocine website.
First movie did 2.3M admissions in 10 weeks, so It won't be a problem for the sequel to beat it largely.

i don't know, if the only news, we will have the complete new number admissions ( including today ) tomorrow. Here we don't talk in Gross, but in admissions.
over 2 millions admissions is a succes here for a movie, so quickly it's even better. When you think the first movie did this in 10 weeks.
So exact total admissions tomorrow afternoon, it wlll include thuesday numbers as well.
I'm very happy it's already over 2 millions!

translation, dragons 2 , yesterday ( monday ) is now over 2 millions admissions in 11 days! Rio 2 made 20 days to reach that level
remember that dragons , the original movie made in 10 weeks, 2.3 millions admissions.
