  1. Bay's best work. The script is solid, and unlike many Bay films which had over-the-top acting and dialogue, this got some really great acting performace and good diaogues. A little anecdote: Being a huge fan of Jim Cameron, when working on this film Bay actually told Ed Harris he wanted to be a director like Cameron and asked what it was like to work with Cameron. Harris said Cameon was an asshole and asked why Bay wanted to be like that.

Watching it now again, what a great movie. That story above sounds exactly like Ed Harris in most of his movies. On a side note, if you watch closely, Cage does some of his classic over the top acting and lines. Why has no one not mentioned Sean Connery, in a fun role.
  2. Seeing that this last episode focused on the mother entirely, giving us her back story and how everything started, the spin off just got a lot more interesting.

I saw it and made the mother pretty boring an un-interesting. With the best parts when she bumps mistakenly into the current stars.Naked Man's Story was the best part.

Good for the Millers, as I like the cast. On Mom, seems OK but I can't get into it as it seems like a chick show?
