I meant at the box office, Maybe the edge of tomorrow goes down enough for forzen to take second place, I read that it is getting more screens. and edge of tomorrow and frozen werent too far either. so is it possible? or there is no way that forzen can make it even though it holds fantastic

Am I the only one who think that frozen will make it to no.2 this weekend? or Am I just too crazy and optimistic?

Why the hate about disney and their decision of the dvd stuff. This is what happened, THEY DECIDED THE DVD RELEASE DATE BEFORE FROZEN HITS IN JAPAN, they never thought that frozen would be so badass! now they are like, ''damn, only if we knew the movie would be a huge success, we would push the dvd release a bit further! so, it isnt disneys fault that frozen has been kicking asses for 15 weeks, they may thought the frozen runs would last 2 or 3 weeks maximun. thats what I think, and we should be happy that frozen made that money, we were expecting like 100 millions dollars anyway, remember?. frozen fought very well and now it is time that we support frozen as long as it lasts in japan and that it makes as much money as it can. for me this run in japan has been so epic and I feel satisifed with it.

So, because disney is greedy and stupid, they wont let frozen runs like any other movie because they want to beat spirit away in dvds sales, but they dont want to beat spirit away in theaters. Disney, you suck! they would sell more dvds if frozen becomes the no 1 movie in history of japan, but they dont use their heads so much.

People, I have been thinking that Disney knows how badass frozen has been in japan and they know about the possibility of beating spirit away. I find difficult to believe that they dont know what is going on there. maybe they dont care because they are making crazy money and give a fuck about being the number 1 movie in japan. I mean, you have to be blind to not notice how wonderful frozens performance is in japan. I really dont understand disney!!

Yeah, Disney usually releases their movies in mid july, but frozen is not a normal Disney movie, there are always exceptions, and this movie should be one of them because it is still doing amazing box office numbers and it has a wonderful chance to challenge spirit away for the top spot!!! so why not wait a little longer? do they have a contract or something in japan to release it in that especific date! Oh, come on!

It is really weird that a sucessful movie like frozen which is making tons of money, it will have a dvd release so early, especially in japan where they normally wait until the movie is out of the theaters. I dont see any detective conan dvd announced yet, so why frozen? I dont get it! why doesnt Disney take things easy? Damn it!! they are crazy!! and I am mad!! very mad!!

Right now I change my prediction of 210 millions to 280 millions!! I hope it makes much more money than that though!

wow! monday was pretty awesome! what I can see here is the frozens popularity is still badass in japan, if japan were on vacation right now for a week, frozen would make tons of money.

I have a question. if Frozen holds very well with minor drops until japans summer vacation, late july. how powerful will be frozens box office in japan from there? and how much money would it make from that point? any ideas?

Update about possible Frozen sequel.
(In late April, Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan F. Horn said that "we haven't really talked about a sequel" because the studio's current priority is the planned Broadway musical, which will require "four or five" additional songs to be written by Lopez and Anderson-Lopez)

why are japanese people still watching frozen? well, I think that the most powerful element of frozen besides the story and the animation, is the songs! I have always thought that! you want to listen to the songs over and over again and singalong with it. and japanese love musicals a lot!!! maybe that is the reason they still go to see it! but that is just my thoughts!
