I'm curious to see how The Post does in wide release - it will tell us if Meryl Streep's career and brand have been tarnished by recent events. Will the #SheKnew accusations (apparently it's her fault that actresses agreed to take meetings in Harvey Weinstein's bed) negatively affect her career?

Good thing Thomas the Hanks Engine is there to save the day.

You're gonna love it, CoolEric. Armie spends most of the movie wearing really short shorts or bathing suits that show off his thighs.

The entire movie is excellent though. I think only the most close-minded would be unable to take away at least something from it.

It's definitely the first movie I'll plan to see when I get back to Uni...unless I'm unable to see Jumanji, The Post, or Paddington before I head back.

Maybe it’s an app this time.

I was actually thinking about that idea the other day, and I think it's the perfect way to bring a new hook.

    Picture this:

The game becomes an app. It becomes super popular across the entire world, and it's bought by almost everyone. When the time is right, Jumanji sucks all of the people in the world into the game. Then it's up to the kids from the first movie to try and go back as their old characters and save the day.

The thing however is that each of the app users pick one of the game characters. Meaning there will be a lot of Rocks running around in Jumanji. Jumanji 2 made an ungodly amount of money with one Rock. Can you imagine hundreds, thousands, millions of different Rocks in one movie? $1B DOM guraranteed.

don't pretend like you've never seen attractive people in movies and thought they were attractive.

Why do you think they were cast in the movie?:hahaha:

    good-idea-bad-idea-announcer-animaniacs-

Good way of saying someone's attractive: "Tye Sheridan's a real cutie. I'm glad Spielberg went with him. What a babe!"

Bad way of saying someone's attractive: "She's asking to be looked at lmao crass joke about harassment"

But he doesn't show his hammer in the movie. :redcapes:

I read in an interview not too long ago that he almost didn't take on the movie because the original draft of the script had too much sex in it and he didn't want to embarrass his children.

    Aww, he's such a dork.

Yet another reason I want to marry him.
