Oh, really? And who deserved the nod? Lèa Seydoux for her amazing work in Spectre?
SO PRESSED.
Carey Mulligan in Suffragette and Charlize Theron in Fury Road delivered better performances than Jlaw.
You don't need to try to offend me.

Is this gif from Glitter?
I don't know but I live for the shady Mariah gifs.

what did ya think of the acting, at least?
I liked Jlaw in it but I don't think she deserved the Oscar nod, if you ask me.
De Niro is meh and Cooper is horrible.

I'm going to watch Boi Neon today, an Brazilian movie that had a great festival run last year (won awards in Venice and Toronto).
A pity that almost no one here knows of its existence...
I hope it's good.

The Big Short was TERRIBLE!
Even Ryan Gosling failed to make me tolerate that movie.

JESUS CHRIST guys, look the size of the lines to buy tickets to the PRE RELEASE of the local blockbuster: Os Dez Mandamentos
I never saw something like this, it will be released at the end of month and already sold 20 tickets per minute, the OW record is going down
That "movie"...
Yikes.

306 movies seen in 2015 (not counting repeats).
Where can I post the list?

Sucker Punch is my guilty pleasure and one of my favorite movies.
I also like Dawn of the Dead and Watchmen.
Don't remember a single thing about 300 and disliked Man of Steel.
Legend of the Guardians is okay, I guess.

I don't like superhero TV shows too, but I quite liked the pilot of Supergirl.
-
11% on Rotten Tomatoes and 32 on Metacritic.
I fear for McAvoy career, what a drop from Atonement...

Raphael told me he's going to watch the movie for the sixth time right now.

I liked it. Overall, a good movie.
But I had some problems with the lack of emotion, I think it was "too cold", especially when
SpoilerPrim died and when Gale came to talk to her after all.
I mean, "Goodbye Gale". WHAT!
I think the move decreased A LOT from this part, lost the rythim.
Oh, and I LOVED the way they handled the Philip Seymour Hoffman death.
I think they made miracles with both of the movies, because I thought the Mockingjay book was insufferable.
B+

Just watched Mockingjay.
Some things bothered me but, overall, it was a good movie.

Now that's interesting! :DD Wereally can be optimistic about it. Will you watch it on DAY 1 Blur? :)
No, I will watch on day 2.
The screening I wanted on the OD was sold out.
And you?

Mockingjay merchandising in Brazil:
It's on the biggest avenue of São Paulo (it moves).
Paris Filmes is revealing phone numbers that when you call, you can "talk" with Katniss.
I did not call, but it seems that she's saying "May the odds be ever in your favor".
There's a card game too, for Android and iOS.

I'm actually okay with the category placement.
The movie was very funny to me and to the people on my screening.
It's not like A Week With Marilyn or La Vie En Rose thing.
Even The Tourist was comedy/musical, I don't know why people are so pressed about this.
