Updated Mojo totals:

DOMESTIC (37.7%)
$376,004,695Mojo hasn't updated their international number since September 11th. I think The-Numbers is more current and accurate. I think it is hitting $1 billion this weekend!

Actuals came higher by around 1.2m for the OS weekend. Updated WW total is now 914.48m instead of 913.2m.
DOMESTIC (39.8%)
$364,171,650What is the expectation of where it will end up at?

I know Obon gave a boost to films in August. I see that Monday is a holiday called Respect for the Aged Day, will that holiday give any boost to films? Thinking in terms of JWD getting a boost to help reach the billion dollar total.

It's at $995 million as of now with barely over a million $ globally this past weekend.
It's at $997 million.

Official Universal estimate after the weekend appears to be right at $997 million. Probably will be a long process, but maybe by the middle of October it hits $1 billion.

He's saying Universal is underestimating.
Yeah seems like the opposite of fudging is going on. Brian at The-Numbers is actually adding all the numbers up from each country and getting that total, but Universal is reporting a few million less.

The-Numbers updated Dominion to be at $998.1 million. I am not sure how accurate that is when Universal's "official" estimate on Sunday was only $994.6 million. Japan this week has only done like half a million so far, so not sure how it would jump almost $4 million. Unless Universal has been really underestimating?

The-Numbers reporting 996.9 Million.
What's Happening 😂😂
It is so confusing lol. It's almost a $2 million difference. Is the $994.6 million though numbers straight from Universal?

$3.0M for Bullet Train &$43.1M for Jurassic World: Dominion.
How much juice does Dominion have left in Japan? Is $50 million still possible?
$48.5 million would obviously lock $1 billion, but it does seem $47.5 million would also get it there. Do those numbers still seem attainable in Japan?
-
So I guess The-Numbers was a little off on their numbers from a few days ago, however still seems like the pace is there for $1 billion. It increased $4.2 million since last Sunday, so maybe $1 billion by the end of September?

Ok, if this is accurate, how come this week is having bigger collections than last week.
Last week went from 989 to 991
And now we are at 995
Last week it went from $984.7 to $990.4

Looking like 995-996m as it stands. We're not making it over a billion unless Uni does something about it. How depressing would it be to have a film be 4-5m short of a billion? Smh
The-Numbers just updated and as of today (prior to Thursday's Domestic numbers and Japan's $41.9 million as of Wednesday) as $994.9 million. So if that is accurate, seems like $1 billion is very much alive.

What was today's Japan daily numbers?

Worldwide is now at $990.4 million. I know it's only $9.6 million away from $1 billion, but I still am not 100% confident it will reach it. Thoughts?

Only crossing 1 Billion isn't enough.
It needs few 20-30 millions more for Jurassic World franchise to average 1 Billion per movie.
They should release Extended Cut in theatres.
They should take advantage of the fact that Peacock isn't D+ or HBO Max.
The franchise with where JWD is at today(roughly $988 million) already exceeds $6 billion worldwide comfortably, so it it does average $1 billion+ per movie.

I just noticed some of my local theaters that removed JWD a few weeks ago are bringing it back starting Friday and having showtimes this weekend and into next week. I have also seen a couple other people on Twitter take note that their local theaters are also adding times for JWD this weekend. Nothing crazy, one to two showings per days it seems, but does seem like JWD is going to be adding theaters this weekend.
Wonder if this is possibly part of a push for $1 billion.

Does the website The Numbers have access to numbers that haven't been released or is this some sort of error on their behalf? At some point this morning they increased the international number to $612.48 million which brought up the worldwide total from $984.7 million to $986.35 million. At this point when every penny counts in the hunt towards a billion that is a huge increase from the estimates we heard yesterday. How accurate is The Numbers?

UPDATE: They revised it back to the Universal number from yesterday, was a typo.
-
Seems like JWD makes $1.5 million+ each day during the holiday(with another $1.5 million on Monday). I would assume Tuesday will look similar, but typically how big of a percentage drop is there from a holiday Tuesday to a non-holiday Wednesday?

Universal has to re release it.
But what actually will they add in the movie or entice viewers to come back to watch a movie they clearly didn't like much.
How? HOW??
Release the extended cut in theaters.

How are OPR and JWD's weekdays?
JWD made $900k on Monday and $850k on Tuesday. Total at $21.95 million.

JWD apparently made $4 million this weekend for a total of $20.2 million. I know there is a holiday in Japan coming up, would a movie like Dominion not see a drop next week or even a possible increase?

What is the expectation for Dominion this weekend? Or moreso, what should it make to remain on track for $50 million+ total?
