Really good performance for Dune on its second Saturday. Only a 13.93% drop in attendance from last Saturday.

KoBiz use live/current exchange rate. So, every time, you open the site, you will receive different results.
This is good to know, thank you!

I'm this close to booking a ticket to rewatch the movie in 1.43 IMAX this Saturday. Idk, anyone know who has seen the movie in a regular cinema know what the movie looks like in-scope? I'm just not sure if it's worth another $20 when I can watch it for free at a Regal cinema (because I'm subscribed to their unlimited pass).
Edit: Also, I do have to say, really impressive how the seats for the shows I looked at for this weekend are almost as full as last weekend.
If you have a theater that you know for sure has a dual-laser “GT” projector and a 1.43:1 aspect ratio screen then 100% go.
The IMAX website has a list if you're unsure.

$4.1M (Total Until 10/26)
I've been following it via KoBiz and see it has $4,032,003 as of October 26th, just wasn't sure what folks were projecting for the final tally.

Can anyone provide any color as to how much Dune has left here in South Korea?

Bit off-topic, but I saw 1987: When the Day Comes yesterday and would highly recommend. A notch below A Taxi Driver in my opinion, but definitely worth a watch if playing nearby. Intrigued by the numbers Along With The Gods: The Two Worlds is doing and may check it out as well.

Okay cool, that just means I can’t see films a second time in theaters (I’ll wait a few months for a digital release) and I’ll need to sit through the entire film (not a big issue to me since I already do). Seems simple enough
The tweet from MoviePass Customer Support has since been deleted and there's nothing in the updated ToS that says you can't see a movie more than once. MoviePass CS is always hit or miss.

Maze Runner is proving to be SUPER walkup based. It's been selling like crazy tonight.
This is surprising to me given its run time and the fact that most people have forgotten about it given the hiatus between it and the second installment.

Moviepass didn't make a bold move, they showed their ass and all of their cards and now the industry knows they are fucked (not that they didn't know it already).
It's quite common to see companies burn through cash to gain market share, so this isn't anything new. Time will tell if they're able to build up their base and really put to use their advertising platform to gain that market share though. But let's be honest, the zombie that is AMC isn't in the best position either given all their net debt (nearly $5bn) vs. market cap ($1.7bn). A string of bad quarters and they could be going bankrupt, though given the business environment they're in I doubt that happens.
MoviePass Ventures is also intriguing given their recent formation and acquisition of "American Animals" earlier this week at the Sundance.

So many moving pieces with MoviePass lately. At the end of the day, MoviePass needs AMC and this is a very bold move. Should be fun to see how it plays out.
FWIW, the AMC in Atlanta costs $15.79 for a non-matinee 2D ticket, so maybe it's not getting the volume the 10 that are now excluded were getting.

Saw "A Taxi Driver" the other week and must say it's fantastic. Top 10 movie of the year for me (live in U.S.).
Any idea as to how much life it has left re: South Korean box office? Been released for just over a month and I'm not sure how long movies stick around. Currently sitting about 430k admissions short of being #8 all-time.
