Eternals - 7791

Shang Chi - 6352

Uncharted - 2522

 

This gives a range of $5.5-6.5M. Guess South-west is overindexing like Venom 2. I think $5.5M+ is likely.

6M is actually a pretty good number for this. But I think the weekend multiplier will be affected because of the terrible reception, and what seems like average audience WOM.

The movie has some authencity to it that many lacked. I guess I am in minority this time. 

I agree. Another baffling thing is that it doesn't really deviate from the MCU formula quite a lot. It just FEELS different, due to a variety of reasons. 

Divided reactions are understandable, but it is in no way as bad as it is being made out to be. It's not bad at all, lol.

Not thay Marvel has to worry since they have a Hawkeye spinoff coming in a couple of weeks followed by Spidey next month. That'll help them bury this disappointment for a decade or so before they psuedo-reboot the property for Disney+ akin to The Suicide Squad.

I see what you are saying, but I doubt Marvel is going to take that route with these characters, even if ends up coming below expectations.

So, what are we looking at multiplier-wise if it opens to 75? It does have an open month ahead of it.
