    A small example about Jumanji, my GF's family watches a new movie every year after Christmass, and this year they chose Jumanji and that's 9 tickets! And the reason why not Star Wars is simple, she have seen LJ with me and didn't like it, well except Porgs

    Of course, all those goals beeing surpassed in a very short time is expected from The Last Jedi; but that doesnt make all of that less impressive.

    It actually does make it less impressive, you don't compare an Olympic runner with a great runner on some Local running competitions in a lot lower weight category ... 
    With this approach, we can compare LJ with let's say Downsizing, why not right?

    Oh yeah, about 'great word of mouth' probably that's why RT and IMDB slowly going down, I bet there is an organize group of people, probably around  1-2k heads who creating endless fake accounts to donwvote LJ, or not ...

    I don't think it's so simple. Yes, the fact that many schools were not out had some effect on the last week run, but it's just a part of the 'problem', we should not forget that this is the sequel for the biggest domestic smash ever, so some decrease is obvious and expected, but what is not expected is at best average WOM.
    And if schools problem will be fixed next week, average WOM is not going anywhere.:hahaha:

    Well, but what about weekdays? Are pre-Christmas days also depressing TLJ?
