Here in Italy Oppenheimer came out 5 days ago and everybody is crazy about the movie.
It is pretty close to Barbie first 5 days gross (Barbie $11.7M vs. Oppenheimer $9.7M), even if summer is ending.- 2

Barbie?
Maybe you mean Avatar 2?
Barbie grossed $32.6M so far in Italy.
Oppenheimer grossed $9.6M in 5 days.
I meant that Oppenheimer is doing great and that it could reach $25M (so not that far from Barbie final gross), great hype and the word of mouth is unbelievably good.- 1

9.1 M in Italy is a lot, considering how dead was moviegoing there in the last years!!
True. I am from Italy and literally every person I know is talking about going to see this movie. Dontt think it's gonna pass Barbie ($32M) but it' gonna come close ($25M could be a realistic target).

Is TLM breaking even at this point? Could it crawl its way to 550M or not? It might not lose money but relatively speaking it's a flop. Even 550M wouldn't be an ok number, for a movie like this the goal is not to break even. Considering expectations, predecessors, and the invasive marketing campaign, it's a flop, not a gigantic one, but still a flop, no need to spin this.

I expected The Flash to do $800 million.
It's not happening, is it?
All things considered, I think they would be happy with it reaching $600M

Huge Potter fan here.
I have zero interest in a Potter sequel with the original trio coming back.
They should focus on two main projects: The birth and rise of Voldemort and a project about the Marauders and/or the creation of the Order of the Phoenix and the battle against Voldemort until his fall. -

Don't know how much of an impact it will have on NWH run, but in Europe trends are not good at all. In a week here in Italy (and we are doing pretty well compared to our fellow Europeans) those who wanna go see a movie will need a PCR negative test even though they are vaccinated. People are not willing to pay extra money to see a movie when they were told to get vaccinated in order to be able to live a normal life. Plus, there is a solid chance that in 1-2 weeks a lot of regions will have to halve cinemas capacities.

Here in Italy, Joker (32.1M) grossed almost as much as Endgame (33.3M) and it is now the third highest-grossing movie of the year. However, in terms of audience, Joker sold more tickets than Endgame ( 4.166.406 vs. 4.098.421). Remarkable.
