Years ago Warner Brothers made a gamble with Green Lantern Hal Jordan instead of Green Lantern Alan Scott for a live-action movie, and the results did not fulfill everyone's expectations. Now that the original Green Lantern was mentioned on CW's Stargirl, Alan Scott should have a connection to the HBO planned Green Lantern series.
