I do wonder what this could do outside of Japan.
Because this is 1 half recap movie and other a season opening special, that you can watch at home a month or so later.
Like I know Chosen did good, buy that a faith based audience, would an anime audience care? Would Crunchyroll/Theaters in the US give it a "big count" with Creed 3 the same week?

My impression is that most theatres were not open today because of memorial for a certain person who recently died.
Hopefully that is it and numbers should be better after today (or I guess yesterday due the time differences, if you know what I mean)

I assume the chart is being updated because it just shows One Piece just made 0.16 and everything else basically nothing?

I know One Piece is big in Italy, we got numbers for it?

Exactly there's a lot going on in China right now.
Seems silly to say hey this should be doing better, who CARES about all the context of the situation going on right now.

I just want Film Red to do well, hopefully it still can.
Seems like the box office wasn't great these past week

I’ll take the way over on JJK
Do you mean JJK will reach the heights of it's projections or BOP is over projecting?

Like I'm not crazy for questioning such a big increase?
Even the likes of Demon Slayer which launch when there was NOTHING else than MK at the time launched with less screens. -

Alright, I might be missing something, but as far as I can tell, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be the widest opening for an anime title since Pokémon 3 back in 2000 (booked at over 2.6k screens), and the first to open at 2.5k+ locations since then too, if BOP's location count estimate is correct. First to go over 2k on OW since Yu-Gi-Oh back in 2004 as well, yea? Again, I might've glanced over a title that came between. Demon Slayer eventually went over 2k, but not until week 3.
Yeah it would be which is why I can't help but not really trust that count.
Like Crunchyroll reported over 1,500 screens but now it increased to close to half as much as they reported?

What is MHA currently tracking at?
