Omicron and other variants are going in grave this year. I firmly believe that we will get rid of this shit very soon. 2022 is homecoming for box office. Especially for Avatar which will be the first Movie to break 1b barrier and if China doesn't ruin Christmas party then I'm pretty sure A2 will cross 4 billions.
P. S: if we don't have anything like Omicron and A2 doesn't do1b I'll jump from first floor.

Those 32.67 Crores are Nett. collection. Please don't put Nett. Box-office results in this sub because people will misunderstand it and this sub deals in GROSS only, creating different result.
NWH did 42.5m Gross which is 5.6m USD in India.<--- (32.67 Nett + 30% Tax)
This is how media is reporting atm. Few reported 35 Cr collection's. 2nd highest MCU means higher than IW which collected 31 Cr. I'll check again

My colleagues within the production really lobbied heavily for us to do it 'dry for wet,' hanging people on wires," Cameron notes. "I said, 'It's not going to work. It's not going to look real.' I even let them run a test, where we captured dry for wet, and then we captured in water, a crude level of our in-water capture. And it wasn't even close."
The KING knows what's best for the audience plus he knows science behind all his movies.
Nothing beats him

t was never really confirmed, but many people suspected that Katherine Waterston got covid during filming which led to her role in the film being significantly reduced.
If I don't see tina a lot in movie I'm going to shoot David Yates.

A failing state may be too hyperbolic, but China's reach is always economical and rarely through art. No matter what it tries to do, it won't have the West's reach in cinema. Not even close.
I mean, China's impact in the arts (movies, shows, etc) is miniscule compared to Japan and South Korea.
So, true
Sometimes they are trying to be funny which isn't even funny.

One more year to see pre-sales and all the hype for A2. Gosh I have waited a lot for this one. I don't want to die before seeing all the Avatar movies.

With China cracking down on Hollywood films (No Way Home releasing there is looking dicier), what are the odds this one may face the same fate? Especially since it would probably topple whatever their highest grossing local films are.
I don't think we need to worry about Avatar 2. Hallelujah will take care.

1000 pages without so much as a single teaser. I know this thread is 10 years old, but that’s got to be a record, right?
That explains a lot about Avatar 2. The box office and record crushing within few days is undeniable.

if we removed covid and cinemas were back to 100%, 6billies would be on the table easy.
Btw I don't see JCS.
Everything is possible with James Cameron. Everyone will witness breathtaking technology used in A2. I'm afraid numbers will become irrelevant.

As I said before if we don't have anything like Delta and Omicron, this is going wild. It will break every single record previously set by any movie.
