Politics and Jerking off Journalists (as if they're not the biggest propagandists on God's Green Earth) Aside,
Two states have the manpower, logistics capabilities, weapons inventory, manufacturing strength, and energy supplies to go all the way across the country and take over the capitol? 2 states vs 48. Yea. Ok, Garfield. He must think the US is England.

RIP. It's so sad. He'll never live to see who murdered his wife. Hope his soul can find solace.

Just watched a Lizard superplex an Ape.
5/10
They really took a lot from Transformers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar, The Last AirBender, Avengers 1, and Black Panther(?).

Fascinating, "How Do You Live?" has a shot of overtaking Godzilla x Kong here. Is it because of Oscar prestige because I found the film to be quite meandering and too out of focus to deliver something truly memorable to the audience.

Who is stocking up on guns? Who has hundreds of militias?
Stocking up on self defense equipment is not necessarily a bad thing. Especially in a time of increasing inflation, crime, poverty, and wealth inequality.

Generative AI is a tool solely to enable rich executives earning more money by booting actual artists in all fields. It should not exist, and any and all use of it should be met with extreme hostility.
There was a plot point in the Dune books, where people got a tired of AI and started a Jihad to destroy all the machines with intelligence.

Dune 2 is an Oscar blockbuster
True, I remember John Campea, after coming out of a Dune 2 screening, proclaimed that Oppenheimer was lucky that Dune 2 didn't premiere in it's original November release date because Dune 2 would've reigned supreme over it during Oscar night. And I don't necessarily think that he's wrong.

There's no way that it's as good as the hype says, right? One of my friends got sick and we postponed our tickets to next Friday. I'm edging to see if it's as good as everyone proclaims it to be.

Had to opportunity to watch "Ordinary Angels", starring Hillary Swank and Buff Reacher, in an AMC mystery screening last night. It's loosely faith based and if it gains any traction, it is my belief that it will break out. Big Tear Jerker, for the family, and the best Christian(?) in a long while.

That shot of Dakota smiling in a wheelchair with those silly looking indoor shades is what cinemas are made for.

The best part of my screening was the Dune 2 trailer. Reserved tickets for my group right after. Thank you, Spider Professor X.
The movie in itself was passable until Dakota Johnson actually meets the three girls. That's when everything just falls apart. When I went into the movie, I naturally assume she would have Spiderman like powers. Turns out it was only some sort of pseudo-kinetic powers. It's a damn crying shame, but the ending shot of her made me laugh so hard that my sides hurt.

Picture this. It's the Bat Signal, but for Dune 2.

Some Wrestling fans are blaming themselves for not watching the Great Black Adam in theaters and therefore causing it to flop, Leaving the Rock no choice, but to shoehorn himself into WrestleMania. Funny Enough it draws similarities to when he shunned Shazam to set up a Black Adam vs Superman Movie. The man thinks of everything in terms of Wrestling cards, and he always wants the Top Card (Main Event Matchup).

I kinda got that chemistry from them too. They should've done it.
Might as well. Movie was already a full blown 2 hour SNL episode at that point.

Everyone already knows. In fact, it was out in the open for years, as early as from back when the movie was first announced. In the social media age, word spreads faster than light. And with their friends digging the old announcement up and posting on Twitter and TikTok about it, why should people fork the money to see a movie that can't stand on its own without that surprise factor?
I went in blind and I can tell you for a fact that the movie is straight up cinematic gibberish on it's own merits. Also crazy that Henry Cavill was top billing after showing up for about 10-20 minutes in the film.

No matter what you may think of how washed Matthew Vaughn is or is not. This movie did not deserve a 35 on Rotten tomatoes....
I'm going to be frankly honest.
SpoilerIt should've been closer to a 10.
Two Words.
Absolute Gibberish.
Also at one point, I thought Henry Cavill and John Cena were going to kiss.

Beekeeper of all movies being so leggy is a great surprise. Ngl, winter season is full of great surprises. HG, ABY, Beekeeper.
There's not much else to watch. There have been no certified blockbuster bangers since Wonka.
Unfortunate that I can't cancel my A-list because there's a 3 month commitment.

Beautiful, yet Grotesque and Weird at the same time. As someone who went in blind, it was certainly not my cup of tea, but it was fun and outlandish experience.
