Going to New Orleans next weekend and one of the tours I'm doing is gonna be the plantation they used in this movie. Really excited to check it out!
Have fun. I live about an hour north of NO on the North Shore as it’s called.- 1

Enjoyed this much more than the first part.
Everyone in this did a great job but I thought Zendaya, Butler and Bardem really stood out.
As someone who’s never read the books; I’m curious what changes there were and if anyone who has read them liked the changes.

Just got home from seeing it. Sooo good.
I, literally, have zero complaints. I can’t think of anything I even remotely disliked about it. Everything was really well done.

Looks great! Love Hemsworths’ look on this. Taylor Joy looks really good as well.
WITNESS ME!! Or in this case…..Remember Her.

I could go on and on about this but honestly I have written way too much and nobody will read all of this text.
Hey, I read the whole thing and I completely agree. I’d give it a like but I ran out of likes for the day lol.

This movie looks like violent, bloody awesomeness!! This is the type of action I want to see from Woo. Much more in line with The Killer, Hard Boiled and even Face Off. Definitely will be seeing this OW.

Out of curiosity: What is your favourite comedy?
Mine is probably either Hot Fuzz or a german comedy (which probably nobody here has ever heard of) called Der Wixxer, which is a satire of Edgar Wallace crime storys.
SPACEBALLLLLSSS!!! Watch out!
I can watch this movie any day any time and I crack up laughing every time.
Too many others to list.

I noticed many people are hating on Hayley Atwell and i have no idea why. I noticed this phenomenon as soon as she was cast in the movie. I think she's a great actress and many are saying she stole the show here
Maybe it’s because they think she’s pushing out Ferguson? Her character has been a fan favorite since she came into the series.- 1

I would think it has to be Cardiac related. Some type of trauma induced cardiac arrest. They were apparently doing CPR for quite some time.
🙏
Prayers for both him and his family.

Not in the same way no, but yes in the sense of the traditional epic SW film trilogy. That’s what the GA and even fans truly care about when it comes to the franchise, nothing can duplicate the popularity of that.
Not to mention, I think they should cool it on the shows as well in the latter half of this decade. Give it a solid 5 years or so where new SW media is limited leading into Ep X. They would reap massive rewards from that in the long run.
Seeing how heavily they leaned into the whole “End of the Saga!” thing with TRoS, I’d be really curious to see how they would go about marketing a return to the saga with X. If they do decide to do 10-12 of coarse. -

Nice. That makes 3 of us who are 47. Another one how used to be active in BOM and early BOT days is @Accursed Arachnid!™. He is also 47.
That said age is just a number. I feel fitter than when I was 27. I keep pushing my kids to stay fit as well.
BO wise earliest memory was pre internet in 1989 summer. That was nuts with Indy 3, Ghostbusters 2 and of course the biggest kahuna Batman. But I was not that interested in numbers itself until internet era when I used to follow Guru's weekend article religiously. There was also a site upcomingmovies which I used to read for forthcoming movies. Most of the rumors did not pan out like the extended wait for next batman movie or Back to the future 4.
While I always loved going to the movies growing up I never paid much attention to the box office. It wasn’t until Titanic that I really got into it.
Loved the good old days of Box office Mojo and Guru

Just got back from seeing it and I’d say the RT audience score and B+ CS is about right.
Overall it was decent but not nearly as good as Ragnarok. The last act was the best part.

I got so many different shows I’m watching right now that I made a list in my notes app on my phone to help keep up lol
I divided them up by which streamer or channel they’re on. Although, the only show I watch that’s on a regular channel is Resident Alien(Sy-Fy). Everything else is streaming.

Same for me, but with video games. What is the use of going to Gamestop or Best Buy and buying a game when i can just go on PSN or Eshop and buy the game at home?
I still like to go to GameStop for some things. Right now, I need a new wireless headset for my PS5 so I’m gonna go and get one in store because I have enough points for a $25 coupon plus the $5 monthly discount you get for being a rewards member.
On the other hand I’ll be preordering GoW:R through PSN.

Really looking forward to this. I’ve also seen a few tweets saying that it’s even Oscar worthy. -
Saw this earlier this evening. Curious to see what you guys think.- 2

I couldn’t figure out how to copy the whole quote with her user name from threads but this is from Perry Nemiroff. I don’t use Threads that often:
Impeccably paced, super thrilling and loaded with the best kind of wildly charming star power. It works on every single level but I’m just totally floored by the utter delight I felt watching an extremely well executed movie designed to celebrate stunt performers — and ALL the unsung heroes in this industry.
A contender for best of SXSW 2024 … and best of the year. ❤️🎥
