I always felt a blockbuster film is based on the budget and had nothing to do with its gross, any film with a budget more than 100 mil was ment to be a blockbuster no matter if it failed or succeeded financially
-
Cant believe that already people are putting large chunks of the last hour of endgame on YouTube recorded on there phone
-
We need IT numbers for comparison.

I don't think there's much of a riddle to Rth saying that 37 could be in play.
He was referring to his previous post of replacing the 34 with a 37 , wish had the original riddle
-
Well pretty sure the # isn't 34 or 37, Rth usually likes the post that solves the riddle
-
37 + spidy (5) 37 + tingles (7)
42-44
-
Is it 39 to 41 possible Saturday estimates

Well that's not it either, since I said 20 pages back and not 7.
Therefore if that's the case it would be 54
So WW + Spidey=54

double this weekend some places SMH & WW
34 spidy tingles
I think it means that WW + Spidey is 68 mil

Currently at 96% RT, can't wait, July is looking so much better than June and May

Is there a reason BOM is reporting 4.1 for TF5 when everyone else is saying 4.9, is Paramount fudging or is a typo

Here's the plot summary on IMDB
In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji - you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves - or they'll be stuck in the game forever.
- Sony Pictures
Sounds like a sequel to me.
Well considering the only thing he took with him was his cloths, that's the only thing he left there. So obviously there is no continuation of narrative, just a made up new one, so once again not a sequel. They should have called it Journey 3: VR
-
The international trailer is so much better, Sony still should could have called this anything but Jumanji and it would have gotten a lot more love.

It's not a remake, reboot or reimagining. Don't know why people keep saying this. It's been stated multiple times that it's a sequel to the first and will have little moments that elude to the first movie as well as Williams' character.
Im sure it'll play well enough with families during the holidays. I'll see it sometime between seeing TLJ for the fifth time lol
This is obviously not a sequel non of the original cast is returning, the main character an ancient magical board game that wash up on a beach of a foreign country is no where in the preview. It be like making a movie about a big dog killing people on the beach and saying it is a Sequel to Jaws. It is Ghostbusters again and Sony haven't learn anything accept don't call it a reboot, say it is a Sequel

Well I was a kid when Jumanji came out and for me it was up there with Jurassic Park

We already know how he felt about Baywatch and RT,

I think you might be right, it looks like crap to me, have no idea why they even bother to call it Jumanji

Is there any reason that Disney thinks that cars is going to drop 10% from Saturday to Sunday?
It did have a super low 22% saturday increase even thought it is the only kids movie in the top five, so it doesn't have much to drop.

So who you guys think going to win the battle for #2 next week
Baby Driver, House, TF:TLK, or WW.
I think it's going to be a close one unless Baby breaks out.

Minions dipped from DM2's overall gross despite a much bigger opening weekend. I don't expect to convince anyone thinking an anti-Illumination bias is clouding my judgment but a one-joke franchise like this has to run out of steam eventually; especially since it seems to be happening with Cars
Cars never had that much steam to begin with, Cars2 sucked, DM2 was loved. Minions is a spin off, and people know it has nothing to do with DM3.
