  1. So much hate for Disney and Marvel. They have a proven track record. Other studios would be dumb to go up against them if it could be avoided. Eternals is going to be a big cosmic movie with an all star cast. Shang chi is introducing one of Marvel's biggest villains and should do insane business in China. Strange has huge breakout potential after the reaction he got in endgame plus it's going in a horror direction which is a new angle. And after the success of Ragnarok, Thor 4 is going over a billion. The only one I'm unsure of is black widow. Could be big but I need to see a trailer first.

  2. I thought Aladdin was fantastic. Obviously very similar to the original but I liked the few changes they made. WS could never replicate or outshine Williams performance but he made it his own and I enjoyed it. The way they made Jasmine more empowered was also a nice touch. She felt like Aladdin's equal. My only issue is jafar was just a meh villain. I really liked BatB, thought JB was ok, didn't even care to watch Cinderella and thought maleficent was a cool reimagining. But this so far is my favorite live action; we'll see if that changes after Lion King.

17.5 million households, anywhere from 1 to 4 people per household. You do the math.

I seen this movie twice. Let me just say, I seen more people walking out of the theater a little let down than pumped. First time, I went with a party of 13 people, some fanboys and one considered a general audience, and nobody walked away happy. I went again last night with my mom. She enjoyed the movie, but as I was leaving, I was hearing quite a few murmurs from the audience about how it didn't feel right, that it was missing something. IW was more fun, and had great interactions with Tony, Thor, Peter, GOTG and Stephen Lang. End Game didn't have that to be honest. I seriously feel that it was Thor's arc and the whole thing between Tony, GOTG and Peter that made Infinity War so rewatchable, and well, End Game dropped the ball in my opinion concerning these characters. End Game had one scene in it that had me pumped, but other than that, the movie was kind of depressing. I'm more than likely wrong, and I sure as hell can't foresee what this film will be like just from my personal experience. But, I won't be surprised if in the end, the movie starts to perform more like Age of Ultron by it's third week after the newness wears off.

I've seen it three times and that is the exact opposite of my experience. All 3 times people were pumped and gave it a standing ovation at the end.

I wonder why it's so hard to make a cinematic universe stick. What's the secret sauce? Is it RDJ

Patience and conviction. This was a huge 11 year buildup that couldve gone wrong at any point along the way. But they had a vision and stuck to it. DC in particular is too reactionary, we're gonna be on our 3rd Batman and Superman in the last decade. There's no continuity.

That a very American point of view, first/14th amendment and free speech are 2 different thing.

That the united nation point on it:

Article 19 Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

    Wikipedia

Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The term "freedom of expression" is sometimes used synonymously but includes any act of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

Having consequence for speech is the opposite of being free of speech, the speech is obviously not "free" if it came at a cost.

Youtube is not obligated to respect freedom of speech at all (at the moment, has google get bigger they could get forced to do so at some point, like many commercial area are forced too), but it is obviously an free speech issue.

    Article 19
    1. Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference.
    2. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice.
    3. The exercise of the rights provided for in paragraph 2 of this article carries with it special duties and responsibilities. It may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall only be such as are provided by law and are necessary:
    (a) For respect of the rights or reputations of others;
    (b) For the protection of national security or of public order (ordre public), or of public health or morals.

And in the same article say that there can be restrictions on it. Me rebutting your views isn't the opposite of free speech; it is me exercising my right.

  6. This isn't a free speech issue. YouTube has every right and some would say a duty to limit what you can say on their platform. Free speech only comes into play when the government is the one infringing.

Also, you can have any opinion you want but that doesn't mean it's free from consequences. People that disagree can call you out, protest or boycott and that is well within their rights.
