    The Mummy will do just fine, because of Tom Cruise. GA will see it as "the new Tom Cruise movie".

    One particular genre that does very well in Indonesia : supernatural horror. Last year Conjuring 2 was 2nd top grossing import movie, second only to BVS. 

     

    Civil War is no.1 movie of 2016, with about IDR 200 bil (15 mil USD)

    My opinion about film franchises

    Great/good: Spider-man (Sam Raimi's trilogy), Bourne (the original trilogy), Captain America, Scream, Terminator (only the first two), Home alone, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones

    Mediocre  : The dark knight, Iron Man, Star war (the original trilogy, don't care about the new one), James Bond, Fast and Furrious

    Bad     :   TASM, Transformers, Thor, Alvin and the chipmunk

    Hate it : DCEU

    I don't care : middle earth, harry potter, twilight, THG, animation

    There are to options.

    Disney stopped updating its numbers.

    Disney is using a different exchange rate.

    I think the numbers are up to date (updated last week).

    In case of option 2, why did Disney use diff ER, was dolar so strong when IO opened and suddenly dropped more than 50% when minions opened?

    1-Spider-Man 8.5 Loved it, I still tend to watch it when it's on TV.

    2-Spider-Man 2- 8 Liked it, but I was not a fan of the whole Spider-Man losing his poweres bit, and too much Mary Jane (who annoys me)

    3-Spider-Man 3- 5 (Harry's redeeming moment saved this movie for me.

    4-The Amazing Spider-Man- 3 Totally forgettable. I don't remember anything much, except that I just really hated this new actor playing Peter. Very unlikable. But, I will say, I did like Emma Stone more than I liked Kirsten Dunst.

    I never even bothered with the second one since the previous one was so boring, and the main  character was very unlikable to me. 

     

    The way Garfield portrayed Peter Parker was one of many reasons I hated TASM/TASM2
