Looks like my $190M prediction might not be too far off, still a bit disappointed that it won't reach $200M though.
The film was fantastic, good legs incoming imo.

Probably the worst post ever.

The drop from STID will be huge.

Bought tickets yesterday for friday and it was not easy, all the big theaters around me (UME, Wanda) were packed.
Even in smaller theaters all the good seats were already reserved.

Not so fast my friend ... Zoo could still peter out entirely before passing BvS.

(Very) early estimations in France put it on par with the Avengers movies in term of attendance, destroying BvS.

Saving it for Phase 4 and beyond imo.

Cinderella had a 35m 2nd weekend and added 2.25x of 35m more to the rest of the run. If TJB has a 61m weekend and adds 2.25 x 61 more to it's cume, it will end at 330m. But it certainly will do better than Cinderella. 340m looks certain even in the face of CW.
Hope it can do 350M.
I loved this movie, left the theater with a smile on my face.

I still don't understand why they thought Huntsman was a good idea.

Lmao that JB projection does not make any sense.

Damn, I remember predicting a few months ago that BvS would gross a lot more than Civil War DOM and a bit more WW, how wrong I was.

Looks like a Bourne movie, nothing surprising.

But that's not how the movie came across though with the inclusion of WONDER WOMAN, then the glorified cameo's of the other members and I just think the general audience doesn't care.. It's basically a case where 1 studio beat another studio t the punch and anything after that comes across as a "Wannabe"..
Agree.
And now, why would anyone care about a Snyder-directed JL movie after MoS and BvS?

I really liked The Jungle Book, the CGI was incredible (except when the animals where speaking).
But the songs where not as good as the cartoon's.

Affleck already put his reputation on the line. The best he can do now is redeem it.
Batfleck was the only good thing from BvS.

Just watched Beyond the Trailer review of bvs. She totally gets it. I am not a DC comic books fan but she is. She explained a lot of the details. I see a depth to this film beyond what she sees in character and plot. The bat rescue is pivotal and will not be edited.
This movie will live for a long time. And I will savor every minute. It is a classic.
It will get released again if they do not release the extended version this year. 1 billion is guaranteed.

This movie braught out so many emotions from ppl exactly because It's complex and way beyond what ppl managed to catch from it
I've watched it 3 times and still feel like I missed so many things Grace Randolph talked about
And imo it set something so dark and serious that future Superhero films will look (at least for me) too light from now on.
