All he needed was some slight changes... It boggles my mind that this final design got the OK.
I don't think a single Sonic Fan would agree to this... Focus group this shit!

** Edit looks like this is a fan interpretation of the silhouette, don't imagine it's too far off though https://www.instagram.com/datrinti/ **

Saw an early screening this weekend and just echoing what others have said... This was a fantastic film through and through.
Currently tied with my number 1 Spidey film SM2 (maybe even juuuust etches it out)
Now I just want to see other super hero films in this art style like the X-men (Not that thats going to happen)

I'm pumped for the soundtrack to this movie, sadly have to wait until the same day as release for it

Trailer is just ok... That being said, still super hyped for this.
(Drago's son is appropriately HUGE)

Wow! Cautiously optimistic.

I've gotta stop watching trailers for this... I feel like they keep showing off all the money shots.

this trailer is stalking me please let it end
Seriously though. The Mrs. and I see a ton of movies and this trailer is attached to every single one, doesn't matter what genre or studio, it's starting to drive me batty.
I'll be happy when it's finally out in a couple weeks.

I still have no idea what this Domestic OW is going to look like... I'm thinking X-men around the 90 range and this could easily open to 50 or just as easily 90.

Um, not sure where you got that info from.. the last Bourne film didn't star Matt Damon, the last one that did opened to $69m, and broke the August opening weekend record at the time. and is one of the highest acclaimed action films of all time. This is a reunion of Damon and Paul Greengrass. And with Damon coming hot off the success of The Martian. and The Bourne Ultimatum made nearly $290m adjusted to inflation.
You know what? I was looking at the series on box office mojo and I read the list backwards!
Identity = 27 / Supremacy = 52 / Ultimatum = 69

why don't you have Angry Birds and Neighbors 2 in the line up? both will almost certainly do over $100m.
Oops! You're right, I missed that week all together. Edited.

^ clearly you missed The Martian starring Matt Damon.
Would you put it in Mission Impossible range then? 55.5 last year. Some are saying 60-70+
I'm also curious to see why people believe Pets will be so successful over Angry Birds (OW-wise) I work with kids and they love talking about the trailer for Angry Birds, seems to really connect with them.

Hmmm I'm curious why Jason Bourne is projected so high? The series has been on such a slope since the original. The last Damon leading film opening to $27.

I've never watched one of his reviews before.... That was rough... Couldn't make it half way.
Happy to see the buzz is good though (no pun intended)
