Im really counting on Interstellar becoming a big break out story and becomes the no. 1 movie ww of the year.
T4 can not remain on the top spot, for the love of our species I hope it doesnt

lmao why do we have to argue about Baumer's opinions in every weekend thread? Damn theres like 500 of us, but its always his that people care about. What about my opinion? Why can't we argue about my tastes for once?Always Baumer, Baumer, Baumer! HES NOT A KARDASHIAN.
Baumer is BOforum Royalty

What you want mean with this?Competition doesn't hurt good movies?If X-men DOAFP was released on GOTG place, I have sure it would do 270M+

1.9 for GOTG.
1.8 for TMNT

I dont know how to edit a html list, so another post:
Netherlands numbers are in Euro
1 Euro = 1.3263 US-Dollar
GotG = $1.1m
Expendables = $0.725980m
Any chances of GotG expanding into more theaters there? What might its full run total add up to?
-
Nice drop.
Concerning this weekend I'm gonna use CA:TWS as refference. GOTG seems to be tracking slightly higher than it (except for the first weekend which is normal since Cap2 is a sequel and this weekend in which Cap2 had a special bump) Cap2 made 16,2 mil in its 4th weekend, so my prediction for GOTG for this weekend is gonna be 16,5 mil;

Also Gravity has proven that the GA is hungry for SF movies

Why is everyone so high on Interstellar? I really do hope for the best performance for every movie regardless. I just fear that the online fandoms are getting a little ahead of themselves again on this one? I hope that this is not another case of HTTYD2-itus?Is the GA greatly anticipating this movie? I have seen the trailer run a few times in theaters and there is never any reaction to it. Roughly, the trailers, especially the scene with Matt McC & Annie Hathaway make it look a bit like Gravity Part II. Do we have any advance box office tracking info on this picture yet?
In Nolan we trust!

My preditiction:
1. Mockingjay - 405 $
2. Interstellar - 380 $
3. GotG - 305 $
4 Hobbit - 290 $
-
196.4 + 20(Italy+Japan) + 20 (Germany) + 100 (China) = 336.4
I think the remaining territories can do ~100m?
That should be 436+290 = 726m WW possibly if things go well.
I have a feeling GOTG will do much more than that in Germany

oh my God, this is still going? I'm not Shay. Jeez

Just please don't end up being Shay. Bucharest? Seriously?

Welcome to the forums.
Next weekend (this weekend) the drop will probably be under 40%. It has a good chance at being number one again this weekend.
Thanks, Baumer
