I don't know. Chris Hemsworth's last movie. Blackhat bombed In Mid-JanuaryDecember 25th only has Monster Trucks and Alvin 4 two days before so if Pan moves to December, I imagine Paramount would move Monster Trucks to early 2016
In the Heart of the Sea sounds like Oscar bait so I wouldn't be surprised if that gets a limited release in December then opening wide in January

April 22, 2016. YesOctober 9th, February 5th, January 15th... the only three dates where Pan has some breathing room.
-
So this is going to be delayed? This is the new trend now? Ha ha. What's next, KING ARTHUR? TARZAN?
King Arthur. Yes. Tarzan. NO!!!!!!!
-
Move It Early February so it can die like Jupiter Ascending did
-
Kung Fu Panda 3 in January????? Okay!!!!!!!
-
Plus The Chinese New Year thing will be a factor for the film. 2016....The Year of the monkey
-
If Nut Job 2 were to leave, and either Pan or San Andreas moved to MLK 2016, I'd say January-April 2016 has to be the most well-rounded slate by far. Of course, Allegiant Part 1 probably needs to move to August 19 or April 8 possibly.
January Thru April 2016 is way too crowded no more room left

Pan Won't Survive This Summer because of Pixels, Paper Towns & the second weekend of Marvel's Ant-Man

San Andreas will make more $178-186M DOM GrossMostly because WB already has too many movies in summer 2015 tbh. Seriously, 11 films over a 3 month period? Only
I don't see San Andreas doing more than $110 million DOM. $80-85 million is my guess.
Plus, after American Sniper, WB's seen MLK is a prime date for the right film. Of course, Pan would be the better decision for MLK 2016 since Kung Fu Panda 3 isn't direct competition and it'd be the first tentpole of 2016.

San Andreas is Not moving. Because TV Spots are starting to pop up everywhere. But Pan is ScrewedIf Nut Job 2 were to leave, and either Pan or San Andreas moved to MLK 2016, I'd say January-April 2016 has to be the most well-rounded slate by far. April will always be the dead zone, with exceptions because its the place for studios to clear out clutter that can be slaughtered by the May onslaught.
April is no longer a dead-zone. And there are no exceptions
-
January, February, March & April. For now on The Summer movie season starts in the beginning of the year. not in the first Friday in May anymore
-
Get Hard - $39M
insurgent - $32M
Home - $28M

Either Gods of Egypt or Deadpool will have to move back a week
-
Which it will be there biggest mistake. going up against Warcraft is true box office suicideSTX Entertainment is legit but I am surprised that they are bypassing the Oscar season.

It won't get to 100M with this drop.
It will pass over $100 million
It's actually good considering that it was a holiday last weekend. Maybe 90 M - 95 M?
Nah
It won't get to 100M with this drop.

Those of you freaking out about the projected Sunday drop for Grey need to look past valentine's history particularly 2004 and 2010 while the 60% is steep it's not totally out of the realm of possibilities. Add to that the factors we already know - front loaded presales and older audience who is less likely to be effected by a holiday on Monday and it makes perfect sense.
I actually think that Sniper and Kingsmen will be overestimated due to some of the same circumstances.
Overestimated????? More like Underestimate!!!!
