I wonder what Pandora will look like in 4k resolution and Jesus. 120 fps and using the new glorious breakthrough stereo 3d and stereo 20 plus channel sound juggernaut 2 will give to the world.
Jim won't be using 120 fps Kal, 48fps is being used for action sequences and standard 24fps is being used for everything else.

All I know, is that Ironjimbo and JamesCameronScholar and Kal are either 1 in the same or members of his family he recruited to help him on his crusade in some desperate futile attempt in hoping his AVATAR sequel somehow, someway out grosses TFA and it's not happening folks... There's just no way that magically, 2 posters just happen to come along when TFA has begun it's dismantling of AVATAR and all associated with Kal.. No one else find that interesting???
I'm astounded by the number of times a person can be wrong in so few words. Can you provide any evidence for what you supposedly 'know'? No, of course you can't.
Then again, if you could form evidence based arguments you wouldn't be in a thread defending TFA would you?

Go on...
The start date has been given to plenty of people, you stated 'the start date hasn't been given'.
Had you said 'the start date hasn't been announced to the general public' then you'd be correct.
I'm not going to divulge Jim's secrets here though, that would be even crazier than Kal's musings.

That is a bit fastly shot.
You see, you write in the thread about Avatar 2... positioned in the 'dom' (NA = USA+CAN) area / sub-forum of BOT.
Only bcs in this thread some do not bother to follow the usual way to write in BOT anymore
= doesn't mean the writer who doesn't use the dom hint automatically within the dom area is doing it out of 'Americancentrism'. He does it out of.... it's the standard writing style in this 'dom' area.
If you speak here of ww, you write ww....
If you write in the International Forum / Sub-Forum, all will know you write about ww, then you have to add 'dom' if you mean dom.
Better to ask another person if there was a reason for writing it in this way before jumping to conclusions might also improve how other might take your POV in general... only a hint.
My apologies, I didn't mean to come across as rude, I didn't know.

Tfa will beat Avatar. We talk domestic here by default. When its WW we type in WW
It's exactly this kind of Americentrism that will prevent TFA from being #1 Worldwide - although I'm sure there is some way you'll doublethink your way to convincing others that 49/51 versus 28/72 split domestic/international is somehow a good thing.

where did ozzy say it would make more than 2.7 billion?
He said it would become #1 all time.

At this point, I think Star Wars Vs. Cameron is far more interesting than Marvel Vs. DC, which just comes off like fanboys being childish and stupid. At least with the Cameron Vs. Star Wars thing, you actually have the possibility of Avatar 2 regaining its position as the highest grossing film ever, over TFA.
Just my two cents.
This implies TFA will even beat Avatar...

This thread is becoming a masterpiece lol, I see the Cameron loonies are coming out of the woodwork. Every defense of Avatar more or less comes down to it being the #1 grossing film and its about to lose that so they're a bit dazed and confused. It makes SW7's impending 950m-1.05b gross all the sweeter. Theres been an awakening my friends, embrace it.
You actually believe TFA will make more than $2.78B and yet you have the audacity to call other person's 'loonies'. The hypocrisy is astounding.

Cameron thought Terminator Genesis was brilliant.
I feel that says a lot.
False - he just said it was better than 3 & 4, and that he saw it as the proper continuation of the trilogy - stop putting words in people's mouths, that's libel.

Cameron always delays his films. Cameron is a perfectionist. They haven't started filming yet and Cameron will being filming three movies at once. While he is filming Avatar 3 and 4. Avatar 2 will be in post production. Cameron will want to make sure everything is perfect.
How horribly misinformed - he's stated himself that he's not a perfectionist, but a 'rightist' - ergo he likes to do things right. Filming starts in 4 weeks, and all 3 films are being filmed at the exact same time, not in sequential order.

No, we do not get paid. In fact many of us including posters in general donate to the site to keep it uprunning. So it's the opposite my friend, this site sucks us all dry. But we do it cause we love it here and it's like a home to us.
My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that you were paid to post what you were posting, just that you were posting since it said 'staff' under your avatar. I've never heard of someone who occupies a volunteer role be referred to as staff before... although I've not worked for anyone but myself in over 30 years, so I'm a little out of the loop in these matters!

No they do it for free.
So it's a volunteer position? What? I volunteer at my local soup kitchen every once in a while, I don't consider myself staff there though... that's crazy.

As opposed to all the Star Wars themed accounts that are most certainly not sock puppets of a single megalomaniac with time on their hands?

Surpised you don't have more Avatar fans on here to be honest, it's a higher quality film than TFA. From the lurking I've done when following SW7 box office I've only seen Kal (god bless) and a couple others hoping SW7 won't beat Avatar.
I think you're being too kind calling TFA a film tbh, it's a movie at best, although I'd call it a flick.

I think you misunderstand some of us. Most of us think it will do extremely well, I do. But the chances of it A) increasing from the first, especially in North America are about 0.000001% and B} Kal is nuts and he throws out numbers like 4 billion like they are easily attained.
So it's not that we are not fans or think it will do poorly, it's just no one but kal and maybe his one friend Stripe, thinks it will do 3.5-4 billion.
Of all films released what percentage would you estimate have made more than $2B?

It very well could, although it's extremely unlikely.
This is quite an erudite summation of many of the opinions of James Cameron's success in the past 20 years actually.
Then they end up getting blown out when he makes a 2 billion dollar behemoth that defies all previous data.

I like to imagine that Jim feeds on people doubting him, and by the looks of it, Star Wars fandom alone will add a couple of billion to the WWG.
