To be totally honest here, I really don't see TDKR missing $500 million if the film lives up to these early comments about how pleased WB is. Think about it this way: even Dead Man's Chest and Revenge of the Sith adjust to over $450-475m today -- and that's without adding in an IMAX benefit. $500m really isn't a stretch for TDKR.
I really think we're going to see three films over $475m this year.

You are right, in fact.I'm spoiled by these frenzy hours.lol Cameron will have the last laugh when this doesn't come withing $150mil of Titanic and $260mil of AVATAR. Oh and well over a billion of either worldwide.

I enjoyed Wrath (more than Clash in fact).KickAss 2 could be ruined just for the Chloé Moretz factor...Studios do it all the time!They run out of ideas or simply want think they can make more money out of it - it ruins franchises a lot of the time!Clash of the Titans did not need a sequel!Kick Ass does not need a sequel! (this is one of those ones I don't want to be ruined!)

hmmmIn fact, it didn't work very well here. THG will have 1.8 M admissions in its run. TA has 2 M admissions...in week 1!You havent seen THG? Oh man, it's such a good movie. See it tomorrow.

Oh!I thought THG was still big in the US. This business in mercyless, i guess.That actually happened at my theater yesterday. A family got tickets to The Hunger Games but the theater changed it to The Avengers. They probably got a refund + free tickets.
