  1. Regardless of whether or not her name is used for advertising for her films (and sometimes it is), Wilde shouldn’t be getting offers from major directors, given her box office track record.

I think nepotism definitely played a part in her career.

Well, to be fair, she looks exactly like her character in Rush did in real life, so I get why she got this part.

  2. IGN: You’re a big comic book fan, so I’m curious, what was your favorite comic book movie this summer?Punk: Ah, geez, you know what? I haven’t seen anything! I haven’t seen The Wolverine yet. I was at the Iron Man 3 premiere and that was a lot of fun. Honestly, it wasn’t a comic book movie, but I gotta throw it out there for Pacific Rim. I saw that, and that was phenomenal. I had no expectations, no backstory, any characters, no famous franchises to deal with -- so I honestly felt like I was watching Star Wars for the first time, it was that fun.CM PUNK interviewhttp://ign.com/articles/2013/08/17/cm-punk-talks-summerslam-facing-brock-lesnar-daniel-bryans-rise-and-more

    My man.

  3. I don't like to say "I told you so," but:

This info seems pretty solid--the source is critic/festival programmer Tony Rayns, who has done as much as anyone to introduce Korean cinema to the west and apparently got the news from Bong himself. So unless the Weinsteins change their mind, be prepared to import an uncut Blu-ray/DVD from somewhere like Korea or France. Luckily, most of the film's already in English, so the language barrier shouldn't be a big issue.

  4. No, I'm just surprised becasue general agreement is that he is Superman but the script was lacking on all accounts.

I felt it was especially lacking on the main character's part. He's just standing around between the punches and doing what others tell him to do for the most part and has to make do with standing there looking sympathetic.

  5. Daniel Day Lewis is hit or miss in every movie. When he hits, he's the best in the world. When he misses, he's a massive overactor.

Michael Biehn should have been one of the biggest action stars of all time.

Chris Evans will go the furthest out of all the Avengers.

Cavill was given nothing to work with in Man of Steel, but held his own nicely.

There are only 2 Terminator movies.

Reloaded and Revolutions ain't that bad.

Bale was a terrible Batman, but a good Bruce Wayne.

Space Jam is the GOAT children's movie.

The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is legit great and one of the best comic book movies of all time. That's all I got for now.
