I've done some calculations to try and project Rogue One's final gross
By using TFA's weekly drops from here on, I've come up with a total between 49-50 million. So hopefully it can push over the $50,000,000

That gives Rogue One about a ~70% drop, i'm no expert on what exactly the Aussie box office is like around this time but I feel that its quite a harsh drop.
What I do know is that it will have a very strong upcoming week

Any updates for Saturday's numbers?

I joined these forums to simply see discussions of numbers, predictions, patterns and movies in general, not all of this mostly unrelated filler.
However, I must admit I do enjoy seeing randoms waste so much time and energy arguing online about absolutely nothing

Well then, I read those last 25 pages for absolutely nothing

Okay I've been on this forum for too long I need to take a break and relax...
This calls for a STAR WARS MARATHON!

Depends what theaters you go to I guess?
Yeah i guess you make a valid point, there is a positive though because I can arrive 15 minutes late just in time to see the trailers and skip the annoying ads

I only got 7 trailers: Pirates 5, Dunkirk (the teaser sadly), Kong, Transformers 5, Fast 8, Spider-Man, and GOTG 2.
You only got 7 trailers? I've been to the movies several times this year and never have I gotten more than 3. It's usually 15 minutes of ads followed by 3 trailers

And I think you will find you are not alone with being obsessed by numbers.
Do not be shy to ask questions about whatever or .....
Have a lot of fun!
Ahaha thanks mate, although i'm fairly clueless when it comes to patterns and predictions with US box office but it seems like so are a lot people for this weekend especially

G'day guys, as you could probably see i'm new here. This weekend seems too busy to not finally join
Anyway, I've been visiting this forum for quite some time and finally thought I'd join as I don't have much of a life. Yeah nah jokes i'm just obsessed with numbers and movies so i'd thought it'd be fun.
Although this post will probably get lost in all the carnage of this thread, I do quite like what's in the title of this thread

A solid -20% drop for Rogue One as it's total notches up $40,000,000. In comparison, TFA dropped -37% in its 3rd week. So it is holding very well but yet again the calendar configuration may skew the numbers in a certain way. TFA's 4th week drop was -41% so it'll be interesting to see if Rogue One can better that. If it does than i'm confident that it'll reach $50,000,000
Very close battle between Sing and Moana as both of them move ahead of Rogue One in daily numbers from Tuesday onwards. Sing stands at $14,210,000 whilst Moana follows with $12,160,000.
