Imagine if it is opposite of Bay critical success but commercial failure 😧
Gonna hard to be a commercial failure with a 100 mil budget this movie will still do huge numbers in China

Disney did not make enough of the plushies, and they are going for BANK on eBay. Like $100 a pop.
So true they sold out before the movie even hit theaters 👎🏻👎🏻

so this is predicted to only make 24.9 billion this weekend. What happened to this being a must-see event of the year. I guess Disney will half to settle with The BFG and Pete's Dragon Numbers.
All 3 are fine films especially considering the smaller budgets of Pete’s dragon and CR. As much as I enjoy the big budget blockbusters Disney has come out with recently I.e. lion king and beauty and the beast. These smaller art house takes on classics have been their best work Pete’s dragon and Christopher Robin were both thoughtful well made movies

Just got back from the matinee showing thank god I was in a row to myself from about 3 minutes in I was bawling like a school girl I don’t give a damn if this movie loses its ass at the BO it’s one of the finest pictures Disney has ever produced. So much feels

Making $30M-$50M profit on such a big investment is not that great. I think the next one will have a lower budget ($150M-ish).
The budget was only 180 with the insurance covering the extra cost from cruise being hurt

Am I the only one who found FURY ROAD to be nothing special and, frankly, rather boring? Like, it was a completely senseless movie to me.
Exactly!! I don’t understand how it’s put on such a pedestol it’s a pretty movie sure but with no real substance

I get it now. Your post hinted that TDM was a sloppy film made without planning. I think that's what the word "accident" transmits. Well, critics don't make a film be a comercial success, audience does. it could have been a new "Maze Runner". Now it looks like a new "Beautiful Creatures". lol
Beautiful creatures was legit wtf

I just want to reiterate how good the action in Fallout is. I rank it 3rd or 4th in the franchise, yet I’m about to see it for a 4th time. In spite of the overacting and terrible dialogue, this movie is still very re-watchable.
I just saw a commercial for the Blu-ray of Infinity War and the action is so ridiculous looking now.
I honestly thought this was the best MI performance tom has put in, the way he conveyed that he’s getting tired and doesn’t know if he can do it anymore and the way he seemed unsure of himself at points in the movie, especially the scene where he’s flying the helicopter and he assured the team he “I won’t let you down” then has to reassure himself.. I’ll be seeing it for the 3rd time this weekend

That was what I intended to ask as well. The Tuesday bump should just be enough to get it to $400m Domestic.
Going to contribute to that wens if moviepass allows it
