Ever since Avengers assembled for their final showdown Endgame last Friday, Bollywood opening records are falling and the latest is the highest opening week at box-office bitting dust. Avengers: Endgame registers third highest opening week ever in India with ₹310.15 crore or $44.5 million, this is the first time in decades that a Hollywood film finds its place in Top 3 and Bollywood is missing its way out as Baahubali: The Conclusions and 2.0 are other two films filling the space. No Bollywood film has managed to gross over ₹300 crore mark in its week’s frame or 7 days but Endgame has comfortably hit the mark pushing out Sultan (₹288.05 crore) outside top 3, wake up call for the industry. The Mighty Superheroes carried weekday trends on a good note on par other biggies, set for some more records falling from the sophomore weekend too.
Top three films of all time at the Indian box office after 7 Days as below,Baahubali: The Conclusion - ₹657.05 Crore
2.0 - ₹335.02 (Opening week’s frame: ₹287.29 crore)
Avengers: Endgame - ₹310.15 crore
At global front India stands among top markets for Endgame, the film which has grossed record-breaking $512 million total in China by Thursday leads North America(Domestic) which has hit $452 million by May 1. Outside these two giant markets, Avengers: Endgamegrossed in excess of $70 million, $60 million and $50 million from the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Mexico as on extended week closure. India ranks sixth highest contributor with $44.5 million with a close follow up by Brazil which will eventually lead when the dust settles.
As said in North America the film is above $450 Million mark without Thursday, the least expected could be a $600 million total by end of Sunday to enter Top 10 domestic grosser. With another $1,211 million coming outside NA, Endgame has raked in $1,664 million global total as on 1st of May and will hunt down The Dinosaur (Jurassic World) when Thursday actuals are in place, the film will move into Top five global titles of all time and look forward to breaching the $2 Billion mark in its sophomore weekend.

‘Earth’s mightiest heroes’ after opening to ₹63.2 crore ($9.05 million) on Friday went ahead on full throttle to defeat not just Thanos, but all Indian weekend records, but the mightyBaahubali. Avengers: Endgameby end of weekend has grossed an estimated ₹190 Crore ($27.2 million), only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion’s ₹353.94 crore.
The Iron Man and crew are already third highest grosser for a western film and by the end of week might even top Avengers: Infinity War ₹295 crore. The film is certain to cross ₹400 crore at this point . It will be interesting to see if it could find spot in Top 5 grossers of all time, over P.K. ₹455 crore.
Following are the biggest 3 days grosses at Indian box office.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - ₹353.95 crore.
Avengers: Endgame - ₹190 crore
2.0 - ₹174.71 crore
Sanju - ₹152.99 crore
Dangal - ₹146.63 crore
First time in history of Indian cinema, there is no Bollywood film in Top 3 opening weekend chart and what's more special is that Avengers: Endgame managed the feat with just 2845 screens. There is a lot of sugar coating that is done in the media, when awful 20-30% openers are termed as good or even headlines like “riot” and “on fire”. The last weekend of April is slap on the faces of those in last three years showing us the true great openers.

Cool am from trivandrum [emoji3577][emoji28]I live in an inconspicuous city in Kerala called Thrissur. Our only access to a multiplex is the sole INOX. So, the rush for tickets was massive. Earlier we had to travel to Kochi for a lot of the Hollywood releases -

Really loved the finale.
The ending was emotional and the kids' fight sequence was super cool. A little bit rushed feel but it's ok. End credit scene was dope
