    Those would be awesome holds.

BB just a great story and carries on.

    Jumanji 300 maaaaaaybe not dead.

Gentlemen pushing the dial slooowly up and might hit 11. Still looking too niche to breakout but clearly it is being positively received.

And Knives Out presumably continues to just be ridiculous.

Jumanji 300 maaaaaaybe not dead?????? Lol it's locked since last week.

I don't need to remind you about the deadline track-record. Everybody and their dog knows this by now and it is what it is hardly a secret. I rest my case here

They've been pretty accurate for the past few months though, in terms of estimates not projections of course.

    $70M more from Japan, really?

Didn't know it had that many countries left, yeah will probably get there, don't agree that it will be 440M domestic at a minimum.

With $395M after a $10M weekend and labor day in a month $440M easily yes, Charlie is expecting $455M domestically I think. In Japan it was at $36M last Sunday, $50M this Sunday and is expected to finish with at least $110M.

is toy story 4 on track for a billion? I think it's more likely to end up high 900s.

There's $70M minimum coming from Japan following projections it will be at $40M by Sunday, $50M at least domestically, 11 countries yet to come including Germany and still a reasonable amount overseas, you can doubt about $1,1B but certainly not about $1B. In 2 weeks it's done at worst.

    The Lion King (2019) $21,900,000
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood $16,700,000
    Spider-Man: Far from Home $3,500,000
    Toy Story 4 $2,900,000
    Crawl $1,100,000
    Aladdin (2019) $850,000
    Yesterday $900,000
    Stuber $500,000
Dear Comrade (includes $300k previews) $475,000
    The Farewell $462,000

    Annabelle Comes Home $460,000
    Avengers: Endgame $250,000
    Booksmart $122,000

I hope TLK doesn't go below $74,75M, it would be under $350M.

Aladdin’s second weekend multiplier gets it to $82m. And that had $92m worth of openers to deal with.

Aladdin had bigger increases on Saturday at the beginning because it was the end of may beginning of June, not all kids were on vacations yet, the Saturday's increases during July were between 33 and 37%, that's a comp!

Anything over $40m is great for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Also, yes Crawl with the best hold of the wide releases in the top 10!

That drop for Lion King would be the third worst hold for one of these just behind Alice 2/ Dumbo (58% and 61%) I think it’s multiplier will be much better than Deadline is guessing. Can’t see it falling below $85m.

LOL even $80M is not happening $75/79M is the range.

Yea it is and I just finished my check on my numbers for Thursday. Going to go with $15.7 - $16.2m.

With that I can see $80/83M but I don't understand the $90/95M range that the industry is expecting.

It’s actually doing quite well, should finish over $35m and cost $13.5m. Paramount didn’t really bother advertising it enough.

But its still finishing with more than higher profile films like Child’s Play, Brightburn, Midsommar etc.

And overseas too, $4/5M is probably coming just from France.

This is on 97% RT Aud score with 14.9k verified votes. ITSV is 93% with 17k ratings.

Not everyone puts faith in it but have always found RT Aud score a good indication of reception vis a vis Critics score with films like Aladdin, TLJ, TGS, Venom, etc.

What do you guys think of that 97%? BOT reception seems muted in comparison even though positive overall.

Same in France, I don't understand BOT reception, I loved the movie.

Also, what do Beck wanted? To become superhero? What do he do when actual threat come? The guy ain't have any powers?

I don't know how comic Mysterio worked but him turning out as just a science guy was ehh.

I don't get Mysterio love here, for me he was a weak link.

Will you post box office updates here since you're threadbanned on the main one?
