@Zatt was right I just saw your post Zatt, sorry for the delayed response! Multiple people have already said that you are the only one who can do it after getting James Gunn back and making Endgame No 1. I mentioned you in my post about Endgame ending its box office run:
QuoteWhat an incredible run! It also spawned a number of really funny threads which I revisit every time I need a good laugh. Let's pour one out for Zatt, he believed Endgame could beat Avatar and never wavered.
I know you'll get Spidey back Zatt! I believe!

I dont. I just dont see it unless its New Avengers starring Spider-Man
Sinister Six and/or Osborn could give the movie a big bump.

I starting to think this could be Marvels first major flop.
Personally I think it might be the first Thor movie to hit $1 billion.

Endgame can't stop breaking records.

lol at people acting like this is actually going to be a "horror" movie. Same way Spider-Man Homecoming was a John Hughes movie and Captain America: Civil War was a divorce drama like Kramer vs Kramer
All the MCU movies belong in the same general genre (superhero action) but I think that Marvel Studios have done enough to provide them with a distinct flavor. That's what I expect from Dr Strange 2, a horror flavor.

Could see Multiverse of Madness being similar to Civil War where many Avengers appear as "alternate versions" of themselves, so a billion could be locked.
That's a great idea, hopefully they'll do something like that.

I just realized Endgame actually beat Titanic in admissions in Brazil. Wow, I'm like 2 months late.
I expected nothing less from Zatt's home country.

Japan is never into superhero movies. The fact that Endgame grossed >50$M there and on par with the Raimi spiderman movies is already impressive.

No doubt. A horror MCU film is a very intriguing prospect, especially with all the multiverse craziness.

Welcome to the billion dollar club Spidey!

Particulary if they take their inspiration from the backgrounds and supernatural creatures that Steve Ditko drew during his run on the comic, from 1963 to 1966. They are truly bizarre and at times frightening.
Yeah that's exactly what I had in mind, the Ditko era.

One rumor..so take it with a ton of salt..is that Doom will be the villain in Black Panther 2, with Marvel going for the Wakanda/Latravia wars storyline, where Doom tries to take over Wakanda to get his hands on all the Vibranium.
Doom is a great, great, villain, but I think Feige is going to be cautious about giving a villain a solo film.
That's interesting, I haven't heard of that rumor. It would be very cool to have Dr Doom do his MCU debut so soon though!

I don't blame Natalie Portman either, her role in these first two movies was that of the cliche love interest. Same for Rachel McAdams in Dr Strange.

Soooo...I guess that Doctor Doom movie is probs dead or delegated to D+
The one planned by Fox is most certainly dead but I'd be shocked if Doom doesn't get an MCU film down the line.

I don't know much about the character but connecting him to the Mandarin seems like a very interesting move. Was it also the case in the comics?
-
I trust Taika Waititi and I'm very happy that he will both write and direct the film.

Hopefully they will fully embrace the craziness of the multiverse this time. The title certainly seems to suggest so.

The first comic book I ever read was a Fantastic 4 one so Marvel's First Family is special to me. I can't wait to know more about this project.

It's a rare occasion that Endgame did not get extension in China.
I see, thanks. Was it because of the hostilities between Trump and the Chinese government or the Huawei situation? I can't think of any other reason why Endgame wouldn't get that extension.
