I can't get excited about Gunn's DCU, if a Flash movie with Batman fails to capture the public's attention, it means the problem is with DC and not the DCEU universe. The failure of this movie is one of the most disheartening things about this industry, because it's a genuinely good movie. DC should go on hiatuses and only release Batman/Matt Reeves and Joker movies, because whenever they try to create something similar to the MCU it doesn't get critical or public support, people don't want to see DC being successful like Marvel

does anyone know when the the flash embargo ends ??

it's a shame that the flash doesn't have a great opening like ant man 3, after all what really matters is its opening and not that it has good legs, failure of the year ....

New victim, Jeffrey Wright
I feel sorry for him trying to have a conversation, everyone should just follows Pattinson at this point, no social media.
Pretty much everyone from The Batman is being attacked this week.
It's past time for Zack Snyder to comment on the behavior of his disciples

that twitter profile Geralt of the Snyderverse (@Itssan17) is practically a cult leader, spreading hate and encouraging to hate everything in DC that is post Hamada.
Snyder's fandom image is not positive 😪

It's not like other fandoms don't have people who are extra. Star Wars fans bullied Kelly Marie Tran off social media, Dark Knight trilogy fans sent death threats to a critic over a negative review, Ghostbusters fans were review bombing the 2016 movie's trailer because of the female cast. Most of the people who love those franchises are good people with no bad intention, and they shouldn't be judged for the actions of a few.
I'm sorry, but all Snyder fans have the same pattern of behavior: they boycott all DC movies, delegitimize Patty as the director of Wonder Woman, demoralize Birds of Prey, threaten Warner employees and are extremely toxic in the media socials.
now they keep saying that The Batman failed.- 5

The movie had its first test screening yesterday. ViewerAnon and Grace Randolph have made some rather odd/interesting comments about the movie with regards to the Snyderverse.
ViewerAnon is the only one who seems to really know things about the movie, the others just make guesses

Its only been half a year since cinemas have been at full capacity and in that time we've had NWH only miss 2b due to a non china release. No other movie released during that time frame was ever looking like it could top 1b, even in 2019. In hindsight, The Batman was clearly never making 1b after the stigma of Snyder, just like how TSS suffered from its predecessor. It had nothing to do with the era and this will be proven when DS, Thor, BP and maybe JW top a billion this year too, followed by a 2b+ grosser from Avatar later down the line.
There's no way to compare The Batman with these films mentioned, Marvel is making a big effort for Doctor Strange 2 to cross the 1 Billion mark, it will fill the film with cameos to repeat the success of No Way Home.
Thor Love and Thunder making 1 billion? Remembering that to reach this mark it took 4 films, let's see if they'll make it
The Batman is a solo film, with no support from "universes".

Well in a way shes right. For those who have had an interest in box office for over 20 years, 2b has become the new Billie. Just like clearing 300m domestically is no longer the prestigious milestone it once was. That just shows how the markets have changed
this doesn't even make sense, it's not just any movie that manages to cross the 1 billion mark at the box office- 3

I just think it's funny seeing this news right after seeing that "In 2022 The World Needs Heroes" ad touting their four DC movies this year right before The Batman this past weekend and now it's looking like a good chance only two of those will release this year. If there are reports of it getting pulled from before the movie in the next few weeks we'll know.
Looks like Discover is already moving its parts to f### DC

They're not being homophobic. These countries have a culture of not showing intimate scenes at all, so they're cutting everything including heterosexual relationships.
They're not showing the movie in any country that request cuts of the gay scenes alone.
just showing that Disney is already having a meltdown
Earlier this year, she told IndieWire, “I don’t know all the details, but I do believe discussions were had and there’s a big desire for Marvel and myself – we talked about this – to not change the cut of the movie.”

Maybe Disney will have a meltdown
In the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt we understand that a version of the film will be released that removes all scenes of intimacy — be they heterosexual or homosexual. This is generally normal practice for these markets.

What are the new criteria for box office success?
Because I don't know at all if I should consider a $ 600M WW with a budget of 200 a mixed success or a real success given the current situation. Black Widow which is under 400WW with 200 budget is therefore not a flop but a relative success? The same for the 2022 releases like Fantastic Beasts 3 or Batman, what expectations to have with this pandemic at the box office level. The Eternals have mixed word of mouth which killed the movie in my opinion. 500WW would already be good.
400M for Eternals is not good, with a budget of 200M (not including marketing) 💀

Exactly.
People are actiing like 70m OW is a flop because they drank the 100+m OW kool aid.
Why would a ponderous movie with D-list superheroes open higher than Venom 2?
Marvel has always had high box office with its heroes D-List
Guardians of the Galaxy
Ant-Man
Captain Marvel
Strange
