Yea if anyone is manually counting you can usually hit f12, go to elements tab , ctrl F , and enter a term that will show you howmany sears are taken.  I guess it varies but "unavailable"  usually works.  If know total seats for the handful of layouts your theater(s) have it may save you a bit of time

    NeadwdD.png

And just I recommend first time clicking through them all, you will see there may be some that arnt seats.  In this caser 2 of those results arnt seats and they are hte 39 and 40 result.  Tehre could be small variation with the handicaps seats etc. but this can be a huge time saver if going by hand.

And some of us meet the problem half way by running keyword searches on HTML source data.

(if I still manually counted Sacto, I woulda quit a locoing time ago)

I would not criticize people who are tracking movies each week. El cid has been doing it a long time. Sure they present it in a different format but they consistently do it and I appreciate the data. I realize you said it last week but if they have not changed there formatting why double down on it?

With Empire City being banned and Charlie not posting many numbers these days we need all the data we can get.

He cited only getting one like. This isnt just my opinion I have heard this form others.   Its not mean to give feedback, and in regard to data its presentation is important.  His reports look automated so the fix it somewhat easy. I wrote a script to it myself last week but didnt wanna just post his work reformatted and take credit.

I would suggest so strongly that you run your posts through a spell checker for errors. It hurts my eyes and I don't mean it in a mean way but to be constructive.

As for el sid, thank you for your hard work. I appreciate it.

OK  I was being constructive.  I have a learning disability specific to written language.  I took time to make a graph last week and was trying to help him.  You are just being an ass.

I can only complain: I got 1 like yesterday for my work 🤨.
rowd (which had miserable presales but still made 8.1M on its first weekend) then it could reach 10M+.

I would suggest so strongly you use a table in data, I dont read your post because it hurts my eyesi.  i dont mean that in a mean way I meant it in a constructive way I even demonstrated once last week.

If you automate report just  add commas in between fields and excel can separate them easily.,

  7.  Top Gun: Maverick had a $3.9M Tuesday but it was a premium ticket even for PFL  premium ranging from 20-30 dollars.   not sure much to take from that in essence its like an extra nationwide PFL showing,  They will have 2 on Tuesday and 3 a day Fri - Sat. You could argue it takes away from the pool who would buy Thursday tickets but if word of mouth is good, then i belive the idea is it brings in new Thursday people.  Maybe they knew critics would pan it and they wanted audience reactions out out counter it.

I'm sorry for the lost of your sister's good taste.

I just learned bad bunny isnt bad barbie, off when i learn this a famous person i didnt evne know existed.

I think Bullet Train has a chance to break out given current situation, Tuesday preview if good and WoM plus embargo up if those come in hot could make a little surge not like there anything pushing back in the other direction in terms of competing for viewers.  Feel like any call is a little early t othat plays out .

The BO experts here  just give a $1.7M yesterday for previews, and the numbers came $0.5M better. Lest wait for Friday numbers first.

You dont have to wait for any numbers to see the issues with comparing multipliers from a 7pm start preview to a 2 pm start.   I dont care what Fridays actual number was because they are comparing it to 20x plus multis.

GOnna track my local AMC/ Tampa area preview for Super Pets.  No comps or predictions  just be measure through out day to get a sense of walk up numbers and trends specific to today

was making it all pretty and tracking every 2 hours , but really trivial thus far.   SO i will just post results for 10 hours up until,  48

tickets sold ,  13 in Dolby and 35 in Regular.

Its not worth my time or posing,l  i will kepo an eye and if it picks up say somehtig.

Kind of an odd question, but is it possible that the major chains close some theatres with the lack of product until October when things pick up again?

See onre of issues with theater is not much you can do with them, they are hard to repurpose, even temporarily, for a ton of reason.  I guess it depends when it was built, but older ones basically can only be movie theaters.  Like think how big the room is the cost to maintain temperature would mean even if you could utilize sq footage floor space the cost of maintain tempter would would be several times higher.  Theaters dying wasnt a consideration when they were built.

Sure other known better but I think rent insurance etc. are huge portions of overhead and unaffected by worthier yuou open or not./  Like whatever policies you have to cover customers wont be paused.    Also if you shut your door people will think you are closed and harder to get them back so they likely would take an L waiting for Holidays

What's your problem with this movie?

    Take it easy man!😂

I cant remember was I snarky in that post?  OH i was yea i ma annoyed with RT which is owned by WB suppressing neg reveiws,  it shoulod of been a 69% last night.  But they inflated it and then pretend its good.   ITs deceptive and I wel I have an invested that sort is tied to it.  Funny cause i have family very involved in the project .  Its quite amazing though the lack of buzz.

The Beast tickets aren't on sale yet. But I'm looking forward to track it.

I mean this in hte most constructive way possible but tables would make your post so much easier to read.
