And just I recommend first time clicking through them all, you will see there may be some that arnt seats. In this caser 2 of those results arnt seats and they are hte 39 and 40 result. Tehre could be small variation with the handicaps seats etc. but this can be a huge time saver if going by hand.

Yea if anyone is manually counting you can usually hit f12, go to elements tab , ctrl F , and enter a term that will show you howmany sears are taken. I guess it varies but "unavailable" usually works. If know total seats for the handful of layouts your theater(s) have it may save you a bit of time

Top Gun: Maverick had a $3.9M Tuesday but it was a premium ticket even for PFL premium ranging from 20-30 dollars. not sure much to take from that in essence its like an extra nationwide PFL showing, They will have 2 on Tuesday and 3 a day Fri - Sat. You could argue it takes away from the pool who would buy Thursday tickets but if word of mouth is good, then i belive the idea is it brings in new Thursday people. Maybe they knew critics would pan it and they wanted audience reactions out out counter it.

You dont have to wait for any numbers to see the issues with comparing multipliers from a 7pm start preview to a 2 pm start. I dont care what Fridays actual number was because they are comparing it to 20x plus multis.

See onre of issues with theater is not much you can do with them, they are hard to repurpose, even temporarily, for a ton of reason. I guess it depends when it was built, but older ones basically can only be movie theaters. Like think how big the room is the cost to maintain temperature would mean even if you could utilize sq footage floor space the cost of maintain tempter would would be several times higher. Theaters dying wasnt a consideration when they were built. Sure other known better but I think rent insurance etc. are huge portions of overhead and unaffected by worthier yuou open or not./ Like whatever policies you have to cover customers wont be paused. Also if you shut your door people will think you are closed and harder to get them back so they likely would take an L waiting for Holidays
