    This tells a different story.

Diseny - 3 profitable movies (3 big budget).

Universal - 5 profitable movies (1 big budget), 1 break even (big budget), 1 flop (big budget).

WB - 5 profitable movies (3 big budget), 5 flops (2 big budget).

Fox - 2 profitable movies (big budget), 3 break even (1 big budget), 2 flops.

Mojo also doesn't count the $13m Thursday for POTC: At World's End as part of the Friday gross. Batman 89, Batman Returns, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 2 are some others with Thursday previews that are separated from the weekend.

I think they handled the Man of Steel Wal-Mart thing correctly given the fact it's a very unusual situation. I do think they should add the Thursday previews into the Friday grosses of POTC3, B89, BR, JP1, JP2, etc.

In that case POTC 3 would be 16-17 M, given the fact that 3 M are still considered as MS.

At the time the record was 16,9 M (SW ep 3), and the second was Spider Man 3 (9 M)

Also TF3 (I just noticed I had it at 13,5 M but 5,5 are considered by Mojo als Thur)
