Let’s say TSS hit it’s projections say $35 million OW, how would have it still made WB a profit?
-
What was the initial projected BO take on TSS to begin with? $35m?

Can someone explain the purpose of a vaccine pass for movie theaters when vaccinated people can carry and spread covid?
It’s like Cops giving out Tickets to people not wearing seatbelts. Sure you can still get into a car accident and kill another person even with a seatbelt, but you at least have a higher chance of surviving the accident than someone without one.

Have no idea how Aquaman was hovering at 72% - 75% for a week on Rotten Tomatoes, then just in the last 2 days after it was released, plummeted down to 63%.
Huge dive at Rotten Tomatoes in the last 2 days.

Brandon Davis from Comicbook.com basically loved and had positive reactions to every superhero movie from BvS to JL.
I thought he’d be one of the few to say something positive for Venom... but for him to be negative about it speaks volumes.

On a differently related note:
Remember 6 weeks ago when Morgan Freeman was accused of sexual harassment or abuse by 8 women, in which Freeman even admitted to it and apologized for his actions?
Seems like a distant memory with no one talking about it after the release of promo material for his Nutcracker movie, because Disney kept quiet about it and didn’t make a big snap judgement to fire him from the movie like they did with James Gunn.

Damn! WB has 26 upcoming DC movies in their slate?

Disney should stick with Star Wars in December.

That's a good discussion point. Why is it so high? Is the audience too easly pleased by seeing stranged talking to man of iron?
I think TDK got its rating by being great, while IW got its through fandom.
I can understand loving a film but putting iw as a 10/10 just insults actual 10/10s.

I watched the first Thor last night probably for the first time since 2011 or 2012. I actually liked it quite a bit this time lol. The first time I just found it boring and I guess I compared it to much to Iron Man. But this time I really enjoyed Loki and I like the hawk eye cameo and the shield stuff was cool and Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings are just adorable in it. So Chalk me up as a fan of the original Thor where initially I did not like it at all.
The original Thor had the best on screen chemistry between the triple H’s: Hopkins, Hemsworth, Hiddleston.
Thor’s soundtrack is also amazing!

Feels really weird to finally be 17. I mean I don’t feel older at all but it’s cool.
You were only a 7 year old kid when Iron Man was released and the MCU was born?
You were just a wee baby.

I find it unusual this account you quoted was form a 3rd party.
The "source" is talking about allegedly seeing Lasseter do these things, but nothing from the person herself?
That 3rd party source was Kevin Tsujihara

Funny. RDJ didn't make 20m in his first 20 years of acting. Was only paid 500k for IM and was considered a potential risk with his history of drug problems. He's a fucking juggernaut now.
Good for him. I've always liked him. From since back to school to Chaplin to zodiac. I hope he banks his money and goes back to making lower budget provocative films
Favorite RDJ role will always be Sgt. Lincoln Osiris.

$60 Sat means what... $45 - 47 Sun?
$177 - $181 million?

Jeff Bridges doesn't get enough credit for his role in the 1st Iron Man.
No one can backstab Tony the way he does.

How many people knew it had a 90% on RT and featured one the best versions of Spider-man?
Lots of people probably assumed it was another mediocre movie like AOU with the same characters.
Two of co-workers didn't know Spider-man was in this movie. Honest to goodness truth. Never even heard the name Tom Holland.

Btw those expecting some kind of West Coast push, it's raining hard down here in So California (in Pomona about 40 mins from LA).
People might be more inclined to just stay home.

I have the Internet-HBO Max bundle. $40 a month first year then, $60 after which I’ll probably cancel.
