I'm really curious about legs. Obviously, the IM and word of mouth portend a leggy run, but plenty of blockbusters in modern times have had great IMs due to spillover business owing to PLF capacity and length that don't necessarily translate to legendary multipliers. Then again, this certainly feels like it could be the start of something. I think if it does 84 off a great Sunday hold, 235m seems reasonable - accounting for losing PLF screens on the 22nd, but also better legs than expected due to WOM.
I’m going to help out with legs next Saturday

Couple of other semi-off the board recommendations:
(again, these aren't classics, per se, but they're fun/interesting watches)
Ladyhawke (1985)
Want to know what Pop Culture in the early to mid 80s was really like? Forget the glossy, meme-y stuff, it's hard to get more early/mid 80s than Ladyhawke, right down to the VERY MUCH OF ITS TIME (and reviled even then) synth score.
But, yes, I have more than a soft spot for it. There's just something about it that makes me stop and watch it whenever I see it on TV while I was flipping through channels.
A Knight's Tale (2001)
Another film that film snobs at the time absolutely HATED but I fucked loved to pieces.
Is it Art? No. Is it Cinema? No. Is it INCREDIBLY FUN? Oh, fuck yes. (also touching in a few unexpected spots)
The best way to describe that film is... "What if you crossed the WWE with Ye Old Fashioned England"? Set to a Rock Sound Track. If that doesn't sound like a Good Time? Well, yeah. better pass on it. But, dammit, it's just so much fun!
Ladyhawke is great.- 3

Damn. I thought Sony couldn't make a film worst than The Marvels but I just saw the RT rating. That's in worst cbm's of all time category. Maybe the movie is so bad its good and worth a watch to see the trainwreck.
(Whispers)
I didn’t think the Marvels was that bad. -

I feel like half of my list has already been mentioned in the "honorable" mentions and we aren't even in the top 350 yet of those.
I knew I had a weak spot for what many would consider "bad" movies, but woah. At least this time someone else had the sense to vote for Shanghai Knights as well.

Yes specific markets are unpredicyable and can carry a movie like how China carried Coco and SK Elemental. Moana's gonna flop if they dress her like a nun which is what they do with female superheroes, or if they digitally flatten her like they did with Halle Bailey. There's nothing wrong with sexy and whether it's objectification is in the eye of a beholder. Barbie, Taylor Swift, the Na'vi dress sexy/revealing and their movies were hits. The Marvels dressed like nuns yet even The Nun 2 made more money.

People might not like the same type of entertainment you like. It’s okay to just move on.

The good news about the Marvels is if someone decides to see it they’ll have the theater all to themselves.

There is a Fassbender film we could discuss his schlong like in the old days.

100 percent with you, as you've probably seen my repeated posts over the years about this very topic. Though I don't think it's completely going away.
One advantage of age is seeing patterns repeat. While it's not guaranteed, fairly good chance DVD/BR/UHDs will go the way of vinyls and become a boutique item.
If they haven't already become one.
So while you won't seem many of them in the big box department stores, and the selection will probably contract, there will probably still be a market for them. Just have to hunt a bit more before they catch on again in various waves ala vinyls.
Won't be too dissimilar to the laserdisc market of the 80s and 90s, really. That's the hope at least.
(and plausibly the best case scenario in the short term)
I’ve certainly contributed to the decline of it myself but a big part has been having the physical space to keep it all.- 1

I really I have no idea what this Kendrick Lamar/Drake feud is about. But considering that my AARP card is arriving later this year I probably shouldn’t know.
