  1. Well let me just say when I saw Project X there was no way a kid under 17 was getting into that theater. When I bought my ticket, had to show my ID. When I entered the hallway to the theaters, had to show my ID. When I entered the theater itself, had to show my Ticket stub. Never saw that much security for a R rated movie before. Also one more thing I have to say............................................................................................WTF LORAX?? Everyone must of been excited about Danny Devito. Only thing I could think of. :D

  2. Meh, I could see why this isn't the cup of tea for some. I hope you get her to watch the second episode.

Well my parents......well my family........well my family and friends..........well my family, friends, and fellow students all seem to thing the stuff I watch is crap. Let me tell you the kind of stuff they have told me is CRAP:CommunityParks and RecreationThe Office30 RockBob's BurgersScott Pilgrim vs The World (Still surprised I had people tell me its one of the worst films they have ever seen)ScrubsThe Truman Showlets just say I'm always on a different wavelength when it comes to a lot of people I know. The only reason I wanted my mom to watch is because I thought she would like the crime drama aspect of the show because she likes that kind of stuff.
  3. Worst Picture

BUCKY LARSON: BORN TO BE A STAR

    JACK & JILL

    NEW YEAR'S EVE

    TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON

TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART I

    - The Green Lantern

    - Big Momma's House 3

    - Your Highness

    - Abduction

    - Season of the Witch

    - The Darkest Hour

    - The Three Musketeers

What do all these films have in common?? They are films that are worse then Transformers, New Years Eve, and even Twilight Breaking Dawn. These guys that pick the films only go after the big name films that have a bad public reaction. That is why I don't like these awards. If your going to hand out awards for the worst films of the year then do it right.

    Worst Supporting Actor

Ken Jeong, BIG MOMMA'S #3, HANGOVER PART 2, TRANSFORMERS #3 and ZOOKEEPER

Al Pacino (As "Al Pacino"), JACK & JILL

Al Pacino doesn't deserve this, he saved the movie from being an all out stinker. For Ken Jeong, can u just narrow it down to 1 film please? He was good in Hangover 2. So that should be good.
  4. Update #3:

    http://www.deadline.com/2012/02/box-office-noon-numbers-show-act-of-valor-1-good-deeds-2-wanderlust-5/

SATURDAY PM: Apppropriately enough for Oscars Sunday, it’s another up weekend for the 8th straight week in 2012. Overall moviegoing is at $130M, which is a whopping +30% over last year. Needless to say, Hollywood is ecstatic (though not at the prospect at sitting throughthe interminable Academy Awards only to watch Harvey Weinstein gloat). Relativity’s R-rated Act Of Valor has stayed No. 1 all weekend. It’s the the Bandito Brothers’ low-budget U.S. Navy fighting force tale using actual SEALs. Relativity acquired the rights to the project last June for $13 million and a $30 million in prints and advertising commitment - the biggest money paid for a finished film with an unknown cast at that time. Audiences gave it an ‘A’ CinemaScore, which Lionsgate’s romantic drama Good Deeds also received. The result is middling for Tyler Perry but then those films where he doesn’t crossdress as Madea (and offend with that stereotype) earn less. Universal’s alleged comedy Wanderlust bombed worse than expected: audiences gave it a mediocre ’B-’ CinemaScore. The combination of Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd proved toxic to moviegoers. (FYI: this greenlight was the studio’s payback to Role Models director David Wain and mogul/producer Judd Apatow.) Also tanking is Summit’s not-so-thrilling Gone starring Amanda Seyfried which earned only a ‘C+’ CinemaScore. This is the latest in a row of stinkers for that studio which is now part of Lionsgate. Remember that kids on the East Coast were out of school this weekend so family holdovers Warner Bros’ Journey 2 and Disney’sThe Secret Life Of Arrietty held strong — at least until Universal/Illumination’s Dr. Suess toon The Lorax opens next weekend. Sony’s The Vowpassed the $100M domestic mark this 3rd weekend out as the first Screen Gems film to ever hit $100M.

  5. Act of Valor Regal Ithaca Mall 142/25 3:05pm60 - 75 people (good mix of young and old)Trailers: (was running late)GI Joe 2: not much reactionWell I have a few problems with this movie. The acting is bad, the script is not very good, and some of the action scenes are too much like a video game and I feel like we never get a full conclusion to one of the storyline. The cinematography is nice and the ending into the credits was a nice way to show respect for our troops. At the end of the movie the crowd was dead silence and it took a little bit for most of them to get up and leave. I can't really give a reaction for the crowd.Final Grade: B-

  6. I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I'd rather watch 6 episodes of a brilliant show that gets cancelled then not have seen it at all.

agreed but it sucks when a great show (that is scripted with great acting and writing) gets cancelled when American Idol and Jersey Shore rule the airwaves.
